Last night I mention a Lori Ann Hill who was abducted same area, found dead in a field not far from worleys home this was in 1985!! Someone else was convicted but it was very iffy no good evidence and he always said he was innocent. I am wondering.....

If that's the case, the judicial system better start re-looking at that case and see if they have imprisoned the wrong person.

He served time. 2 years. Sentenced to up to 10 but got out early of course.

Our judicial system needs to reevaluate sentence terms for certain crimes.

The Blade's articles about JW's criminal history/charges are confusing me as several in here and other discussion spots are claiming that he was only charged for abduction of RG and not prosecuted or served time for it. Yet even the victim of that abduction, RG, is quoted here as implying he served time for it and was prosecuted. Also, I am in no way questioning LE's ability or dedication, but I have to admit that in some ways, the situation with JW reminds me of a classic Criminal Minds episode where they zero in on a past criminal with a similar story to the current investigation and try to nail him to the crime, and then find the right perpetrator of the crime along the way. It just seems to easy to have this guy 5 miles up the road. Yet, it also fits perfectly, too. I go back and forth about whether it's too perfectly or is a pattern of behavior and criminal activity and he has more victims and a history a mile long. Just some thoughts.

As an avid fan of books by retired FBI BAU John Douglas, R.Depue, and R.Ressler. It seems that this case may be a combination of several episodes all merged into one<the bicycle, the barn, the wrecker> A journey into the darkness if you will.. Narcissistic psychopathic sexual predator J.D. Worley's decades long trail of terror will likely be investigated all the way back to his birth and beyond..

Yes, focusing on a suspect and then attempting to make the evidence fit; 'perceived hypothesis' has caused many investigations to go astray.. The Adam Walsh case went cold for three decades due to this common investigative error.

<Only 5 miles up the road> Many times prolific serial sexual predators/killers that have honed their skills with multiple unsuspecting innocent victims taken over decades without detection become over confident and violate their rules of prey. Imo, this combined with advancements in CSI, forensics databases, and other technology is likely why JDW's tragic trail of terror has come to an abrupt end.. all jmo

I am confident that there will be a methamphetamine connection in this case. Since the 1980s CA speed freak killers, in virtually every sexual predator case that I have researched, there has been a meth connection...

Evidence has been found. Nothing specific mentioned. Lab work is being prioritized to expedite the investigation. That was about it.

Presser started at @10:20AM. Three speakers for about 2-3 minutes each. Very little new information. A few questions from reporters were met with, "Can't answer at this time. Ongoing investigation."
