Not sure who the motorcycle guy is that investigators are searching for or why he/she is significant to this case. Guess, they don't want to show their hand as to whether they are considered a POI, suspect, or just a witness. I do think that it is concerning that they haven't come forward at this time.. Especially since SJ's mother indicated that there may be more than one perp responsible for her abduction.

Seldom do sexual predators/serial killers team up, but when they do, the tragic results are usually beyond comprehension..

Behind false smiles, it is truly then that the eyes become the window to the soul, or in some cases, the lack thereof.In most instances, the serial killer acts alone, extracting pleasure from the anonymity that he presents. However, in rare cases, these predators find in each other a kindred mind, linking up to work together, proving the old adage of water seeking its own level, even for heinous reasons.

Whether the union is long-term, or short-lived, these serial killing partners present a unique problem for law enforcement officers trying to solve crimes.

The Mom believes there was more than 1 because she says Sierah knew self-defense. But even if she did, a man 100lbs heavier than here would have no problem over-powering her. Nothing has been mentioned about a second person <modsnip>

FBI got involved for more reasons than we may know, but this included the possibility of crossing state lines being so close to Michigan.

I do not think that this was referring to Chelsea Bruck at all, I am thinking possibly multiple states. Multiple victims.

Both arrests of JDW and DC were announced in the same day.. Both investigations are 30-45 minutes from each other. But they are not saying they are linked.

Thought about this case a lot last night. As a mother to a daughter, this just breaks my heart. It's just disgusting that we have to worry about our children doing the most simple of things. I seriously think people who have shown their true colors, much like JDW, should not be left free to prey on the innocent. I don't think it's right that the rights of a criminal have subjected the honest, good people to an increased danger due to them being free. I would really love to see communities popping up that do not allow sex and violent offenders to live amongst regular, law abiding citizens. It's just not right. This man assaulted a woman with a vehicle and attempted to abduct her, why was he free to live his life?? That is attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, assault with a motor vehicle!?!? I just can't stop thinking that it's just not fair, it's not right. Our children, no matter their age, should be safe riding a bicycle.

Dealing with my stalker, who has a hundred pounds and over a foot in height on me, I remember a self defense instructor telling me that the chances of me physically defending myself against some one that big would not be likely unless at the very beginning I was able to inflict a serious wound, such as gouging an eye out. The rage in an attacker makes a broken nose, or groin kick seem minor when they are in attack mode.

I don't recall any mention (cmiiw) about the condition of her bike - if he struck her, knocking her off her bike, while she was riding - she could have been stunned and unable to fight back, much like Mickey Shudnick was unable to do initially, though in the Dana Ireland abduction/murder there were multiple attackers..

A couple of thoughts on the motorcycle:
-Has LE requested the public's help with the motorcycle since Sierah was found? If not, the motorcyclist might not even be relevant anymore, or it is possible they have already talked to the motorcyclist and it ended up being nothing or it ended up being something.
-It seems to me that if LE saw the motorcycle person as highly integral, they would have released a bit more info about size of bike or person or a sketch.
-If LE is looking for a relative of JDW or someone who was on the property and haven't found him/her, and believe that person was on a motorcycle, it would seem they would have released a sketch or photo or name of the person for the public to sight. For this reason, I don't think JDW's relative/s are being looked at.

I hope I have not rumored or used names/identities that are not in MSM and have avoided a modsnip.

LE has not had a press conference since finding SJ. Last statement was they were looking for someone on a motorcycle with an open faced helmet that may have been in that area during her disappearance.

Old Steve, in a prior thread, investigators stated that there was no damage to SJ's bicycle..

I just want to say thank you Foxfire for your input and perspective. The vast wealth of knowledge you eloquently share with us here, on Sierah's threads (and countless others, as many of us know), is greatly appreciated.

I am grateful that you are always willing to share pertinent links, in addition to your perspectives based on your professional experience. I learn so much from you, and that is priceless, IMO.

This is what makes WS such an amazing place. Even if we don't always agree, we have the opportunity to gain understanding from the POV of others.

This can be said about SO many of my fellow WSers! Latest inormation - At approximately 6pm yesterday evening, authorities searching an area around County Road 7 tragically found what are believed to be Sierah’s remains.
The remains have been transported to the Lucas County Coroner’s office for an autopsy.
Positive identification will be made in the next few days through either DNA or fingerprints, but at this time we do strongly believe that this is Sierah.
I want to express my heartfelt condolences to Sierah’s family.
At this time, our investigation remains ongoing, but we do anticipate additional charges against the suspect.
This investigation is far from over, we are continuing to canvas other areas that weren’t covered yesterday to search for more evidence.

We will continue to follow up on leads and we still would like anyone who may have seen anything or may have information to call our tip line at 419-335-4010.
I want to thank the community, all of the volunteers and agencies that have assisted in the search and anyone who has called in tips to help in this investigation.
I’d also like to thank the Attorney General DeWine, the FBI, BCI, and all of the other local and state agencies who are assisting in this investigation.



I post this to show that while there hasn't been a press conf since the one that announce Sierah had been found, there is this post on the Sheriff's Facebook page and it does not mention the motorcycle interest or desire to have more info on it. I really feel the motorcycle request is unimportant based on it disappearing off the radar, and also because it was first brought up somewhat as an afterthought at the end of the presser when the Sheriff was starting to walk away.
