Not complaining because all the hard work and hours that NotNice and her crew have done is jaw-dropping but did I miss why all the redacting? It's public record.

Since I was the one that obtained the records, once they went viral, I knew I couldn't take anything back. It's done. And I would be the one responsible.

Accountability and ethics, play a very important role in my life. I didn't feel it was ethical to release information that innocent people involved in this case may be upset by its release or have a negative effect to their life. For example, Identity Fraud. The documents that were given to me weren't reviewed to see if SSNs were noted, addresses, phone numbers, DOB, ect. There is a law on public records and personal information being protected. Privacy Act 1974. I won't pretend I know the fine details between the law, but I felt I had a duty to protect.
Just because the County that gave me the records did not protect personal information, doesn't mean it was right. So, it was important to me to protect the innocent in this case that did not ask from day one to be a victim or those involved in this case that did not have a choice in being apart of JDWs life.

What does it mean when it says wrapped in paper (improvised) ?

I was thinking a paper like material, much like wrapping a gift in tissue paper? But I'm not for sure.

It was recommended to me from the Mods that if I was going to redact and watermark, then there was no need to place them downstairs.

Perhaps they suspect the earmuffs may have belonged to a previous victim.

The "Vikings"earmuffs were placed in one bag with the ski mask and dark colored gloves. The description states that the earmuffs and gloves were inside the ski mask. The items were gathered from the rear floor board of the vehicle.

I had thought that they would belong to a previous victim but my guess now is that these items were his disguise and might contain dna (hair, skin) of previous victims.

Ok. Far out possibility. After a quick search on Amazon, there is a movie named "Countess Perverse" that was released in 1973. Maybe the CD was mislabeled or there is a typo in the report? LV - maybe Long Version

I believe they have paper material that wraps collected items that are unable to be secured in evidence bags. They have to insure that the evidence is not corrupted by exposure or tampering. Improvised denotes not a commercially constructed bag but rather by wrapped evidence collectors in the field with approved materials.

If anyone has said this, I'm so sorry, last day to be so behind on the thread and then post because I know how annoying it can be lol. BUT....I know why there was sooo many incontinence underpants.......BECAUSE HE KEEPS HIS VICTIMS FOR A DURATION OF TIME. Obviously, the victims will need to void or defecate. Incontinence briefs keep the mess out and removes the need up unleash them while they are restrained. Just my opinion.

Let me just say that there are quite a few cold case boxes that will need to be brought up from the evidence room and dusted off before we will even be close to crossing the finish line.

The more I learn about JDW, the more the statement that Night Stalker Richard Ramirez, made to the jurors in 1989 after they sentenced him to death comes to mind. He said, "Lucifer dwells within us all, I don't expect you to understand me, I am beyond good and evil, Lucifer will avenge me." JDW is the devil's disciple..jmo.

He had the incontinence briefs, a water bottle, a straw, a sandwich and tape by the hay stacks which concealed the secret room. He gave them water and food and made sure they could void and defecate. He did keep his victims for a duration of time. Not saying a long time, but time.

Agreed.....this is going to be a massive unravel.....the other thread for his possible unknown victims, in one night I found 11 possibles. We could potentially be talking 50+ victims. If she started in his 20s, 100+ victims.

I believe that warrant release is not complete. It's does not have all the items they found with the last search. There was no body noted in the inventory, unless I missed it. I did not see any devices of sexual deviation, unless it was the metal hanging device noted (other).

ANTISOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER ( Psychopathy )

According to the DSM-IV, the essential feature of the disorder is to be found in patterns of irresponsible and antisocial behaviors beginning in childhood or early adolescence and continuing into adulthood. Lying, stealing,truancy, vandalism, initiating fights, running away from home, and physical cruelty are typical childhood signs. In adulthood the antisocial pattern continues and may include failure to honor financial obligations, maintain consistent employment, or plan ahead. These individuals fail to conform to social norms and repeatedly engage in antisocial behaviors that are grounds for arrest, such as destroying property, harassing others, and stealing. Often these antisocial acts are committed with no seeming necessity. People with antisocial personality disorder tend toward irritability and aggressivity, and often become involved in physical fights and assaults, including spouse and child beating. Reckless behavior without regard for personal safety is common, as indicated by driving while intoxicated or getting numerous speeding tickets. Frequently these individuals are promiscuous, failing to sustain a monogamous relationship for more than one year. They do not appear to learn from past experiences in that they tend to resume the same kinds of antisocial behaviors they were punishment for. Finally, they seem to lack feelings of remorse about the effects of their behavior on others. On the contrary, they may feel justified in having violated the rights of others.

Milat had a similar MO as JDW and he used a metal hanging device/chain blocks to hoist his victims up off the floor to terrorize and sexually assault them.

The story features a big-game hunter from New York who falls off a yacht and is unaware that they are killers who hunt humans for sport, and that he is their newest prey ...There has been many movies made over the years with similar scripts. A dvd was found in Trucker serial killer Adam Lane's<NC> cab; 'Hunting Humans'.
