and then the other one stated oval yellow plastic gag that was 3" long by 2" wide I believe. Which report stated "Ball Gag"....can you please link as I honestly don't remember seeing that. TIA

Is there a reason everyone is speculating on it being an object other than a typical ball gag used in consensual BDSM play? If you google yellow ball gag, there are plenty of results. However, it is NSFW, as the images show them "in use." Additionally, this could be a trigger for some people.

I thought ball gags were spherical in nature. I read in an earlier post the object found was oval shaped. That's what had me thinking about oval items. (That and I'm not a ball gag type of person so it didn't immediately come to mind. But I do own a bicycle!)

I guess what is bothering me now is why was there a need for a gag in her mouth if he used duct tape? Am I right in thinki g the duct tape was over her mouth (and wasn't hair on it?)? wouldn't duct tape have been enoug to Leone her fro being able to holler? He had everything covered:

-a gag gag to keep her from calling out
-hands handcuffed behind her back so she couldn't remove the gag or strike out at him
-feet tied to keep her from escaping or kicking him

I hope we find out if she died at the abduction site or if she was taken to the barn. I pray her torture did not last as long as I fear.

I guess I am just baffled that this monster would harm and murder this innocent soul simply for that purpose. Not that a sexual assault would make it any more understandable. I guess I am just naive.

I appreciate your posts. They are informative and empathetic.

I feel that it's important to point out that while there may have been no evidence of sexual assault (and I am glad of that), that this is still a sexually motivated murder.

I don't know how to explain, Foxfire may (and may have already, if so, disregard all of this mess!).

But what you and I may consider to be sexual gratification is a far cry from what it means to people of this nature.

If it was a true ball gag, it would have had a strap to hold it in place....go Google it...they are disturbing. If the strap had been removed or broken, and the ball was simply stuffed in her mouth, she could have spit it out. Tape would have kept it in, but not "in place" on the lips as is the intent of these devices, thus it could slip back in the mouth cavity, causing asphyxiation, especially if she was out of breath, sobbing, etc. She wouldn't have been able to swallow saliva, sinus drainage, etc. properly due to the obstruction and the inability of the tongue to function properly in a depressed situation due to the gag....think about how much humans unconsciously swallow...every few minutes I dare say.
