After hearing from Robin Gardner, whom Worley was convicted of abducting during her bike ride in 1990, the state has rested its case. Testimony is done for the day. #WorleyTrial

I hope RG found some measure of comfort knowing she is helping put this monster away. Very brave lady. It could not have been easy reliving her nightmare. I wish her well.

RG’s testimony was quick. I wonder if she was only allowed to say that she had been similarly attacked and could not elaborate.

I have been somewhat amazed that this has gone so quickly. In a way, I think it may make it less stressful for the jury members to have all these breaks. Hopefully, it won’t be as emotionally difficult for them once their job is done here.

BREAKING: The state rests its case in the trial of The People vs. James Worley. The defense will present their case on Friday.
The judge said earlier in the trial that things are moving faster than expected: https://buff.ly/2pqDIew

Today’s lone witness gave a chilling account of surviving a 1990 attack by Worley. Also took place in July, she was riding a bike and says Worley tried to get her hands handcuffed behind her. She was able to escape & flag down a passing motorist for help. #WorleyTrial

Nope, just RG.

I just cant understand how/why the Coroner did not get that report back. I don't think I have ever heard that following a trial!!!!! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it reading several posts back. And to be on the stand and state that. Why didn't the State see to it. I don't understand!

Maybe that’s better to say than “I forgot.”

Did the defense team ask any questions of RG?

Just part of his pretense that she misunderstood what had happened, he's such a law-abiding citizen.

IIRC, from long ago stories, he was sticking to it that it was an accident and therefore,
that is why he stayed to back up his story.

He didn't flee the scene to make it look like it was an accident. If he would have left it would seem like he was guilty. Hope I make some kind of sense.
