Not sure if this video has been posted but the article explains the "feces" they found.

There was something that was not collected: human feces and a shovel found in a cornfield on County road 7 near roads J and K where Joughin's body was found. This was pointed out by Defense Attorney co-counsel Merle Dech, who asked the investigator whom the shovel belonged to and why the feces wasn't collected. The investigator responded by saying he wasn't sure who the shovel belonged to or if the feces were human or animal.

Less than a month before Sierah Joughin’s body was found bound and gagged in a cornfield, a search from James Worley’s computer was made on a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 site:

Trial doesn’t start until 1 today so the judge can handle some other court business. But yesterday’s testimony was incredibly tough to hear. It’s nothing compared to what Sierah’s family is experiencing, but I couldn’t stop thinking it about hours after my story was done.

Jashrema...Anyone,
WHY?! WHY can't they STOP the trial immediately and sentence the EVIL IMMEDIATELY?! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Oh my God! [emoji24] Dear God! The "system" IS SO SICKINGLY WRONG! EVIL is being FLAUNTED! There is WAY MORE than ENOUGH PROOF OF GUILT! WHY can't he HANG 455 YESTERDAY'S AGO?! My GOD! [emoji24]

BEAUTIFUL SIERAH FOREVER IN MY [emoji173]!
I won't deny that the system is flawed, but it's not because we don't sentence criminals without trial. I don't want to be part of a system that sentences that way, ever. Not everyone charged is actually guilty, which is why we go through this process.

I do understand the emotion of your post though. He is guilty, we all know it, but that doesn't exempt him from process.

Whenever I find myself thinking that someone is so obviously guilty that of course they will be convicted, I think of Casey Anthony and check myself, hard. But in that case, the strongest evidence, imo, were her lies. There is loads of exceptionally strong evidence here. I won't go so far as to say "I guarantee he will be convicted", but I'm pretty darn sure he will be.

Hang tight.

These are all since yesterday in one post. Excuse if any are dupes.

http://www.toledoblade.com/Courts/20...of-murder.html Updated 12:52 p. m.

Mr. K****, who said he visited the Worley residence "once or twice a month," testified that the two sometimes watched 🤬🤬🤬🤬 together while Worley's mother slept in her bedroom. The last time they did so was the winter before Ms. Joughin disappeared....."He had some lingerie...it was all packaged up," he said.....Mr. K testified that Worley had shown him some of those items in the barn and that the suspect talked about plans for what prosecutors called "casting couch" videos, but Mr. K said he didn't take them seriously. He noted several other businesses Worley ran — a transportation and a flower drying business — had previously failed.Worley at one point asked the court to move a pile of exhibits blocking his view of Mr. K.

Friend testifies to smoking pot and watching 🤬🤬🤬🤬 with James Worley with 1:35:00 video Updated: Wed 6:25 PM, Mar 14, 2018

"He mentioned something about building a little studio in the back corner," said that friend. A studio, according to the neighbor and Worley friend, to produce 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. "Yeah I don't know. Just talk. I didn't pay much attention to it," said the friend. The man also testified that he and Worley would watch 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 inside the home as Worley used a nanny cam to monitor his mother. "He said if he'd gotten some girl out there to visit him he could maybe tear it or something and he wouldn't be tearing something she owned," the friend testified.

a search was performed on a pornographic website with a computer in James D. Worley's home. "hogtyed + teen." June 24, 2016, 5:03 a.m. On the day Ms. Joughin disappeared while riding her bicycle — July 19 — pornographic searches were made over several hours from that computer. Search terms and videos containing the words "rape," "forced," "hitchhiker," "stranded," “helpless,” or "gag" also appear frequently, according to the detective's testimony.
Angelita Cruz Bridges, assistant U.S. attorney, briefly stopped proceedings Wednesday afternoon during the detective's testimony and after defense attorney Merle Dech asked if the items presented contained all of Worley's search history. Detective Morford said no, and Mr. Dech asked if he could provide it in its entirety. Judge Jeffrey Robinson called a recess and told the courtroom upon resuming that the Department of Justice has to authorize releasing the entire contents. Ms. Bridges during the recess referred comment to U.S. Attorney spokesman Mike Tobin. Mr. Tobin when reached on Wednesday said his office would look into the matter. Detective Morford may be recalled later in the trial, but Mr. Dech declined to comment about the incident after court adjourned for the day.

When asked if Worley told him what he was going to use the items for, K said the defendant mentioned possibly using it for women met on an online dating site, wanting to tear the lingerie instead of their clothing. K also said alleged killer also mentioned starting a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 business.

Investigators testified that Worley became upset when agents found the bin and viewed the bondage items inside along with adult diapers, white tube socks and a lacy tube top. All items similar to what Sierah was wearing when investigators found her body. Ball gags were also found inside the bin. Other items like rope, duct tape and zip ties, Sierah was either tied up with or were collected from other places on Worley's property, were also talked about. Jurors also learned a large deep freeze freezer found under the floor boards of the barn. An investigator testified to testing for DNA inside.
"It was lined with carpet so i took a swab," said Dave Horn with BCI.
The state then asked Horn if he noticed a smell in the barn.
"Yeah like decomposition," replied Horn.
The state also asked if Horn smelled bleach. Horn said no.

Tweeting/updating is challenging during trial as Judge Robinson banned phones and I find the media room across the street lacking because you can’t see the rest of the room, get a sense of how the jury and gallery is reacting to certain testimony. It’s important to be there.

Each day has been stimulus overload of info and details, some gruesome to think about. But, when there’s a possibility a man could be put to death by the state it’s our job as the media to explain to the public what’s going on. Thankful I get to do this work, even when it’s hard.

Anyway, just a reminder that everyone covering this trial is human too and we’re not immune to the humanity of it all. I’ll be back with updates when we resume at 1 p.m. for day 4 of #worleytrial

I feel for the everyone involved, including the media. I know I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Sierah, I haven't had to be in the room with that monster or see the pain on Sierah's family member's faces or see the evidence in person, and I've not been able to stop thinking about it. I've had a hard time shutting my mind down to go to sleep at night. I'm distracted. I can't tell you how many times this week I've been doing something and not remembered what I did. This morning I had no recollection of hanging up my keys after returning from the gym or putting on my coat before leaving for work. I looked down and realized I was wearing my coat that I would have had to go downstairs to get, and I couldn't even remember going downstairs at all. Empathy is a good thing until it's in excess, then I wish I could at least turn it down if not off for a bit.

I hear you smallfry. I was still decompressing from Cherish P. Trial. I have never witnessed an ME crying on the stand. That was a really tough one. Yet here I am. Thinking of Sierah and those who loved her.

Taryn Lawson‏ @cntarynlawson 5m5 minutes agoDet. David Morford of the Toledo PD is discussing forensic analysis of Worley's hard drive. Video titled "Struggling while bound in latex" was accessed from X-rated site on June 24, 2016. Search terms "stranded" and "forced" used on same site in Sept. 2016

I spoke with Ms. Lawson by direct message to confirm that the last date stated above was Sept. 2015 as JW was in custody Sept 2016.

Does anyone know how long the trial is expected to last?

I am so upset they stopped live streaming. I have gone the past 3 days but I need to work a little bit so today since it is a half day I am working :(. I am debating going tomorrow. I hate missing the trial since the coverage of it is aweful. The public barely gets to know anything about it.

May i please ask where the opening statements can be seen?

You were originally asking iirc as to when she was killed, and I pointed to opening statements (which we don't have entire video, just snippets released that day...). I was not in a "good place" to answer as was too upset, but the best that we have is the opening statement article which is at http://www.13abc.com/content/news/M...Sierah-Joughins-alleged-killer-476601513.html and states:

"In their opening statements, prosecutors said Worley had to kill the UT student because after Joughin was kidnapped, they believe Worley had to cover his tracks. Prosecutors believe there was too much evidence left inside his barn linking him to her disappearance and that's why they believe she was killed."

That, combined with his interview and him realizing they were onto him during one of his initial interviews... leads to believe it was after an interview with him.... either at his house, or the taped one where they had his helmet. :dunno: but that's the best info I can give as to your original question.

Here also in this link is.....
"Here’s part of that recorded conversation:
Investigator: "Let's talk to him about the helmet."
Worley: "What about the helmet? You found the helmet?"
Investigators: "Yes"
Worley: "OK, where's the helmet at? Who has it?"
Investigator: "{inaudible} .... along the road"
Worley: "You found it along the road?"
Investigator: "I didn't find it, someone did."
Worley: "Well bring it on here because I want my helmet back."
Investigator: "Well that's why we're here mostly is because the helmet looks like it might have some blood on it."
Worley: "Uh, No. ""

(Note, the article has a video, and at about 1:35 into the video is the video of his SECOND interview at the station after his first at the home, and his saying" Uh.........................................no" at the end is one that sends chills. He knows the game is up, but whether he killed her between the two interviews, or after his one... :dunno:, , but I'm leaning to after they took his trucks and before this interview...although don't know the exact timeframe of all of them)

Thanks so much for getting the clips, and knowing how to find and post them!

I too don't understand why the stations cannot/won't post the days videos, as they apparently can release them as they are doing afterwards. Perhaps too much time to edit? They are saving for Dateline or ?? which they have a contract with? Does the family have input/influence possibly to those at the stations IF they want them streamed AFTER the fact as they are doing with snippets?

I so badly want for her to have passed before he got her back to that barn. Knowing the ultimate result is what it is, I want for the situation to be he knocked her out and gagged her in the field, and that he panicked when he got her back to the barn and she had already passed. I so badly want for her to have been unable to realize what was happening.

There were tire tracks at the field that matched his green truck that they found when they found her bike, right? So my hope is that she passed quickly in that field when he went to get his truck. I want to say that he wouldn't have taken the risk to leave her there conscious, but the dude was already disgustingly ballsy, so who knows.

God only knows how many people he hurt before Sierah, but hopefully he can never, ever hurt anyone else ever again.

This all just makes me so angry and sad.

It was said, yes, the green truck tires were a match at the abduction scene.

"Along with items identified as Joughin’s, Simon and crime scene specialists called to the scene recovered a box of automotive fuses, a pair of male sunglasses, and an orange-handled screwdriver.
Simon reported tire tracks running perpendicular to the roadway in the northwest portion of the cornfield, and and signs of a struggle that included blood on some corn. Impressions of the tire tracks proved to match the make and model of two tires on a green pickup truck owned by Worley.
Haselman said a motorcycle helmet was found on the road and taken by TV near the scene that same day. The Jaspar, Mich., farmer, who farms in Fulton County, surrendered the helmet to the county’s authorities the following day after hearing of Joughin’s disappearance."

I doubt that she was killed at that scene as she was redressed, and the rest of her clothes have never been found. But indeed confusing that the motorcylcle was at the same place as the truck? Perhaps I'm mixed up that both were there?

Others have input/ideas?
