What the actual fack the le shot her to that's wrong on so many levels

IMOO, two scenarios- 1, he (TP) shot her while they were in the car, especially if she tried to escape as reported by the 911 caller referred to in an earlier post- 2, he opened fire on officers during the pursuit and they returned fire, striking both TP and SW. MOO!!

Well that adds some mystery here. If not them, then another woman was kidnapped in a similar fashion on the same day and just so happened to be in a caravan?

I’m not sure what the circumstances could be - I’m hesitant to feel that it’s them without MSM confirmation, as naive as that may be.

Well, someone has some explaining to do. No body camera to show what happened. The only acceptable reason that this officer could have had to shoot the both of them is either they both had guns and were shooting at him, or one of them was shooting at him and he couldn't tell which one was shooting. Still, I will wait for more on this story before I misjudge the situation, as we've seen many times, the media can twist and distort facts just to be the first to get the story out, one filled with lots of drama and outrage, in cases like this.

I forgot to add in my post- if this lady isn't Skylar- may she be found safe and sound very soon.

I thought for sure it was them, going by his mom's post on FB. Something is strange about this. Let's hope he didn't harm Skylar first, put her aside, and took another victim along the way. I am sure that is not the case, but with the way the world is today, nothing would surprise me!

The latest news article said the person that called in the 911 for the woman in distress said the van had Quebec license plates. The minivan Ty'Rell stole from his roommate was reported as having Ohio plates. 2 dead in Oldham County following multi-county chase, officer-involved shooting
This is so crazy! Yet, on their FB pages, people are posting RIP's, including his mother.

I wonder if they have been found elsewhere deceased- a murder/suicide situation, and this other shooting situation just coincided with this? I mean, his own mother posted that he's gone- I can't see any reason why a Mom would do that on her FB page or anywhere, if it wasn't true?

Unless an error in protocol was made (possible), LE would not open fire on the vehicle unless a gun was shown, at the very least.

My guess is that the driver shot the woman to start the LE gunfire.

I don't get it the le knew she was in distress trying to escape her ex and the le shot her .

I had to stop myself from wanting to prematurely blame LE. I am no officer, never have been and never could be (I'm too hot headed. I'd be on desk duty forever!:() so I have no idea how I'd ever handle this type of incident. However, we all know life doesn't happen in a vaccum. There are tons of variables that most likely contributed to their deaths, especially hers.

We don't know the weather conditions although it looked as if it was raining. We don't know their speed or the driver's steering patterns (e.g., straight vs. zigzagy swerves, etc.). We don't know how light or heavy traffic was, what type of vehicle(s) were near the van or in direct shot of the officers (e.g., small cars, pickups, semis, tankers vs. box trucks). There are lots we don't know.

I do know LE is not usually in the habit of shooting at suspects when a hostage is involved, most especially if it was clear to them or had been reported she was trying to escape the vehicle but was pulled back in by the driver. Seems likely either BF shot her or she was hit by random bullet(s) when LE was forced to open fire in order to save other travelers' lives. He could have been threatening others with the gun or vehicle or both. Any number of scenarios could have played out here.

Either way this will be interesting to see play out.

Whomever they were, may they rest in peace and their families find solace in such a horrendous situatin.

SABBM- exactly!! Blaming LE in this case, IMO, is not warranted. It's entirely possible TP shot her.

Ohio State kidnapping ends in Oldham County shooting. What we know

Oldham County Police dispatch records detail that a pursuit originated in Gallatin County, about 60 miles northeast of Jefferson County.

A 911 caller said they saw a man force a distressed woman into a vehicle at a gas station in Gallatin County, KSP said in a news release. The Dodge Caravan sped off toward I-71 South.

Troopers saw a vehicle matching that its description in Henry County but the vehicle didn't stop for a trooper, who tried to pull the driver over.

That kicked off an approximately 20-mile pursuit that ended on exit ramp 14 of southbound I-71.

A Kentucky State Trooper shot Pounds, who was a suspect in her abduction, after the trooper heard a gunshot within the vehicle that Pounds and Williams were in, according to a KSP news release.

Williams was hit by at least one round of gunfire and taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, KSP said.
