Do we know what time they called for wellness check / what time the dental office opens / what time the friend saw ST on the floor? I wonder if the dental staff called ST and MT and got no answer, then they waited to hear back for even around an hour (which would be long to me in a waiting room) and after radio silence it was urgent to them so they called police. JMONope you sure don’t-odd to call 911 before checking the house
Yes I couldn't see one there, unless it's embedded within any of the articles, but I haven't seen one linked.@Tortoise, Sillybilly states that a Media , Maps and Timeline thread has been started. Perhaps check there. A link is included in Sillybillys thread.
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant a google maps link, not to the media maps & timeline thread. Sometimes one of our WS members will make a map with pinned locations.@Tortoise, post #2628, also on post #1 on first page.
Maybe they felt 911 could get there before anyone else could get there to check on them.I disagree and think it’s odd, and out of concern I would go check on them 1st before calling 911

I can think of lots of awful reasons for someone not to show up to work on time or answer the phone, but I can also think of lots of not so awful reasons -so unless I have some specific reason to think they are in danger I think it’s odd to not check on them 1st before calling 911My concern is that they would have had carbon monoxide poisoning, if I could reach neither Spencer nor Monique at all. I'd be no help in that case and I'd most likely call 911 while making the commute over there.
Edit: Exactly @Covert Operative
Hindsight is 20/20-its odd to call 911 before going over to the houseIt's disheartening to see so much energy wasted on calling the coworkers strange for calling 911 so quickly rather than giving them the high praise they deserve. Their actions helped to get those children out of that house as quickly as possible.
Assumption on top of assumption on top of assumption. You have no idea if the dog barks or not and who heard what when. One thing that is really telling to me is the dog. Almost any dog (especially a golden doodle!) is going to bark if someone enters the house late at night. Yet apparently they didn’t get out of bed to check. This says to me that either 1) they were used to someone coming and going (maybe a basement guest?) or 2) the perp was already inside the house, whether invited or not.
Nope. The boss is on vacation in Florida. The coworkers are at the dental office in Athens over an hour's drive away. 911 was the quickest way to get someone to check on them.Hindsight is 20/20-its odd to call 911 before going over to the house

Monique Tepe did not make tearful 911 call months before slaying, police say
Columbus police said the speaker in a tearful 911 call that has grabbed national attention is not Monique Tepe.www.yahoo.com
Confirming what most people already thought:
My emphasis.
