Nothing except his name is Michael D McKee, he lives in Chicago. A surgeon. Their divorce case was reopened earlier in 2025 after being closed since 2017 or 2018.

I understand he is in custody in Chicago.

The info on that warrant issued says he's 6'1" and 200lbs with brown hair and green eyes. I know we can't see features in that video like his eye color or hair, but I'd say the person could be 6'1" and 200 could also fit.

According to Franklin County Municipal Court records, Michael McKee is charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe.

They identified him walking around the neighborhood and identified the car they tracked him to. As many of us suspected, they have known for a long time who did this and used digital forensics to put it all together.

And once again, anger and sadness collide. That someone could do this to this lovely couple, while their babies were right there.

So wrong, so unfair.

I'll be back, after an ugly cry.

Hope somebody is holding those babies tight, and can show them a world that is more good than it is bad.

Because it's hard to make that statement right now.

"Records say police were able to identify McKee through neighborhood video surveillance. He was reportedly tracked to a vehicle that arrived just prior to the shootings and left shortly after.
Detectives were able to identify the vehicle and link it to McKee, according to court records. They later located the vehicle in Rockford, Illinois and found evidence that McKee had ownership of the vehicle."

OMG is this what I think it is? He hired the dude in the video or was it him?

So was the entry on their divorce filing back in September 2025 a reason for murder? Everyone poo-pooed that and said it was an administrative error. But I didn’t think so.

At the time I wondered what the custody dispute might be about. One thing comes to mind why an ex would sue for custody when there are no living children.
Edit to add: At the time of the custody dispute issue, could there have been eggs/embryos in dispute?

I can understand the owner of the dental practice calling 911, but why did 2 friends of ST's also show up at the scene? I think out of the 3 males, one was a co-worker's husband and the other two were his friends (or maybe one was a neighbor?) Did the dental practice call the friend as well after they couldn't reach the Tepes? Or did the friend receive a tip (anonymous or otherwise) that told him the Tepes were in grave danger and/or dead?

I’m wondering if coworkers husband went because he was closer to the home? I’ve seen some criticism/suspicion that coworkers would leave the office a little after 8 to make the hour plus drive there. But maybe nobody did. One woman said she was en route but I don’t know if we know she was en route from the office in Athens. Maybe she hadn’t been in the office that morning and lived closer to Columbus.

Of course we don’t have this info but would be interesting to see how each of the people who went to the house had been alerted that something was wrong. If someone showed up but police can’t find any documentation that they communicated with anyone to know that he didn’t show up for work that would of course raise a red flag

He def has “meth jaws” that’s for sure… but he’s enormous

Honestly seemed like this guy had his life together, being a surgeon himself, having a medical license in another state etc. how freaking sad he’d be so consumed by jealousy he’d do something like this. I thought he had moved on.

Guess people wondering about it were right.
