So far all of the Columbus news media are reporting that he's now in the Franklin County Jail after being extradited from Illinois. It wasn't revealed how he was transported back to Ohio though.

My only comment regarding the photo is he looks very different from the photos I saw of him when with Monique. But the opposite of what you would expect - he looks younger to me, like a different person. His face has changed shape or something.

There is a bump like an ingrown hair? Or from shaving too close and when the hair grows out you get razor bumps? I don’t think its from trying to self harm or anything.

It’s usually plugged in 24/7 and the alerts sent to your phone would sit there until they were opened. Maybe MM didnt bank on a baby monitor or taking their phones.

I honestly believe this so how police had strong enough evidence to upgrade the charges to use of a suppressor. I think they likely have recording of muffled shots and prove with decibel recordings. Unless he was so absolutely stupid to leave the silencer on the weapon 11 days later in his home back in IL. Even then, it would be easy for defense to argue this if the suppressor was found in the home or on the weapon. Just MOO, I think they have solid concrete evidence for use of a suppressor to add it to the charges this early.

Does anyone know if ballistics can prove use of a silencer based on specific markings? I don’t know enough about firearms so I have no idea.

I can’t find any specific evidence or statements (besides charges) that directly says a suppressor was found or where it was found. I doubt we will have definitive proof of how it was found or how they can prove its use unless they release the probably cause affidavit at some point or through the trial. Currently, Only proof is the grand jury indictment that has 2 weapon specifications add to each of the 5 counts. I will add that jurors can deliberate separately on weapons specifications and find a defendant not guilty on the specifications even they do vote guilty on the original charge. So maybe they aren’t worried about proving that as intently as I originally thought since it’s not all encompassing for a guilty verdict of the original charge.

The second specification is in regards to the silencer/suppressor:

“SPECIFICATION TWO - Firearm Specification - 6 year, §2941.144(A)

The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Michael McKee had a firearm that was equipped with a
firearm muffler or suppressor on or about his person or under his control while committing the
offense.”

I am not sure what it is. It could be a shaving issue as you stay. But I believe he could be a risk for suicide. If he is a narcissist and bully, they can fall apart when backed into a corner.
