Whether this POI is the perp or not, seeing them walk on the snow and ice got me thinking. Unless the murderer took off their shoes or did a wipe down, there might be some shoe prints in the home, especially on the hard surface floors. In the winter it’s common in my house for one of us to forget something on our way out the door, be too lazy to take off our shoes going in, and leave visible tracks all over. Of course, these could’ve been covered/contaminated by those that found the body if they were inside the house, or police once they entered.

The video is from the Tepe's back alley but north of their residence. This particular camera is on a garage just south of 9th Ave. The POI in the video footage is walking southbound toward the Tepe residence. If you go too far north in the alley from the Tepe residence, Google maps reverts to 2019 imagery. The alley has changed substantially since then. Stay with the August 2025 Google maps imagery and you can see the particular garage where this camera is located and you can see the downspouts with the ground piping extensions attached to them across the alley from the camera (the downspouts are visible in the background of the video).

Did you hear the dispatchers though? Very rude and dismissive----and I am usually on their side and give them grace because it is a very hard and stressful job. But this female dispatcher was exceedingly dismissive, imo.

I listened to the 3 calls on Brian Entin’s video after reading how rude and unprofessional the 911 operator was so I was primed for bad. I didn’t hear rude or unprofessional in any of the three calls though. She took the info and dispatched officers to the scene. She did it in a calm voice. She informed the later callers that she had sent officers already but would send them again. She did not sound exasperated or like she was having her or the officers time wasted. I’m not sure what people are hearing that was rude or dismissive. MOO

I’m very familiar with this area and drive through it on my way to work. It’s very much in the city… I have the citizens app and there is always crime in the area. This is basically an area of Columbus that they were revitalizing.
I saw someone posted a picture of the face that was a screenshot from the video that was released and I can’t find it now… can you repost or was it taking down?

There’s more in the video at the link below (which is almost entirely police radio and 911 calls relating to this case) and when I heard it, I understood a little better why people were irritated. I don’t hear it as being terribly bad, though – about what I’d expect from dispatchers who are trying to weed out inappropriate and hoax calls.

IMO, that video is only a little help. If they go back to the site and stand someone in, they can get a relative height and from there based on body size, they can get weight. It also based on his gait, looks like it is not an African-American.. but a Caucasian or Hispanic. Also, maybe someone saw this person the way they are dressed.

I HOPE there is more video and better.

Sometimes the police do not release the best video, so that people can check their cameras for this guy but this guy will think they don't have my face very clear so I'm off the hook.

I am going to try to see if I can locate exactly where that video might have been taken for a proximity to the Tepe's house

The boots really stood out to me more than anything. Gen Z males don't wear boots much. I would guess this guy is 40+.

The only exception that I could see would be a younger person creating a style look.

One member's daughter identified that the suspect is also wearing "skinny" cut jeans and added that this particular cut is out of style with college students. Older, boot wearing men, however, are unlikely to select jeans based on fashion cuts. Rather, I think their jeans would be more utilitarian.

The combination of boots and fashion cut jeans- though no longer in current fashion per se could suggest a younger man. Maybe with a vague fashion look such as something like "skater" or a more vague "industrial / punk light"? Then again, is there such a thing?
