Look what I just found out:

At 23°F (-5°C) in just a light jacket and jeans, a person can experience serious effects like frostbite in as little as 15-30 minutes, with hypothermia setting in quickly, potentially leading to severe impairment or death within a few hours if shelter isn't found

The family doesn't need a spokesperson, imo, since LE is actively working on the case. There isn't a missing person to advocate for, and there isn't a need to push LE into action. I expect silence from this point forward, unless BIL is making the youtube circuit (which I hope he isn't, tbh).

I tend to agree. There will be time for that at trial. I truly hope Spencer's father is blissfully unaware of all the Reddit/YT/ heck, even WS posts about the case, so he can concentrate on grieving the son and daughter in law he has just lost. I

A little surprised that LE haven't arrested anyone or not even named a poi yet ?
No useable fingerprints or dna anywhere, and it looks like no camera/ring doorbell footage from the Tepa's house, either.

They literally have THOUSANDS of leads, and who knows how many videos they have received that they to go through. I am pretty sure they put out the POI video to give us a bone. The public is impatient and was chattering about not hearing anything from police. It will take them time. They should be able to put together this person's movements via all of the cameras. He couldn't have been outside for too long in those temps the way he was dressed. Did he go to a home/apartment, get in a car and drive away? Did he go to the Tepe's? They should have it all, which makes me think he had a car somewhere, or why didn't they see where he ended up?

I'll go out on a limb and say I don't think life insurance policies or wills were factors in this case.

Finances might be a motive, but not life insurance and wills. my opinion

I agree. I vacillate between a well-planned murder and a person who didn't expect it to end up like this... but lost it.

I don't think that it is that well-planned. JMO - even if the person walking in the alley looks "calm", it doesn't rule out being emotional. It might well be the situation when the person "whipped himself" into thinking that a murder would be a good way out of the situation. I don't know how they feel now.

I'm way too poor for that, bro. That's why I'm saying 500k is ballin'. It's ballin' in the metropolitan area where I live, though we're surprisingly a smaller market than Columbo.

I will stick up for ya. We might be from the same metro area. Homes are less expensive here, though they creeped up a lot in the last few years.

I think our local edibles are a lot stronger than what I’m hearing described by others, too. They aren’t like a couple glasses of wine.

Knowing all of the cameras that are along these allies and streets, they should be able to track this person's movements, where he came from, and where he ended up. Unless, he got into a car and drove away. Plates not picked up. It was 23F out that night, he couldn't have been going far, or out in that temp for too long. He either went to a home, apartment, to the Tepe's, or where? Are they still looking at videos and trying to piece together his movements?

It’s a high profile case, which will eventually go to trial. JMO, they should have a spokesperson - but not him.

Even if they have fingerprints or DNA, you still need someone to compare it to.

There are a ton of roads to travel down here though, from tips from people close to them, tips from people in the area, cell phone data, surveillance video (takes time to go through), etc.

This could break tomorrow, or we could be here months from now. No telling at this stage.

Maybe. IDK. If yes, perhaps a visitor would bring a gun due to perception that the neighborhood was a high crime area.

I had been thinking it could have been a visitor, but if they brought a gun, I feel like there was a reason.

Regardless of how you interpret the BIL’s comments, the glaring detail is that he doesn’t even live in the same city as them. He lives in Cincinnati, 2 hours away, per his interview tonight.

If LE were suspicious of him, they’d know pretty immediately if he left his home for ~5 hours in the middle of the night. His wife + Ring cameras in his neighborhood would attest to that.

I’m seeing a lot of comments on social media casting suspicion on him, but I’ll reserve my judgment. Again, if LE suspected him they’d be able to immediately see whether he was gone during that time period.

Anything is possible and i understand ppl here have had bad experiences, but I don't think there's anything pointing in the direction of Big Brothers specifically, and it's a good organization doing important things. Not every little brother grows up to be a psycho. In fact, very few do....

I wonder if the couple that got into the fight was staying over that night.

As a 30 something, I'm definitely not throwing a raging house party on a Tuesday, but I would totally have a late dinner or wine night with friends.

Maybe they had been drinking and smoking and turned in for the night rather than driving home (planned or unplanned). It could have been more of a quiet fight that escalated, as it would at 3am after a long night, rather than a screaming match in the corner of a packed party.

I wonder if the 1 year old was a through the night sleeper or woke up several times. One of mine would wake up at 1, 2, 4 am and you'd have to rock them back to bed or make a warm bottle. Oh, the good old days, and sleepless night of having a 1 year old.

It's possible Monique or Spencer were on baby duty and got up in the middle of the night.
