It was conversation between a podcaster host and guest. Speculation. Thats why I am asking if the family has mentioned anything. What is RBBM?
Respectfully bolded by me - RBBM

But being there outside for hours? doing what? Did they have a little gazebo or a covered sitting area in their backyard? And he was just sitting there? Waiting? .they have a video of him arriving and then leaving hours later, so what happened in between?
It's been said he gained access through the basement window IIRC? Maybe he went there on the 6th to unlock or make it easily accessible when he came back to do the murders. If he was stalking her on social media, he would have known they wouldn't be home so he preplanned a way to gain access to house then.

I know I never used to check my windows to see if they are locked because I never open them, sinus problems ugh. We had professional window cleaners come in a few months ago and I was straightening a blind they had left crooked. It was unlocked along with about 3 others. Scared me to death even though we have a security system and it should go off if it was raised pass the sensor.

Just a thought.

What is strange to me was that, according to the affadavit, it seems the police had no idea about the ex-husband until they interviewed family and friends. This makes me think that the Tepes never reported MMs multiple stalking/terroristic threat episodes - assuming they occurred over the 8 year period since the divorce. Assuming the incident on Dec 6 showed MM on their stoop (i.e. curtilage) via the ring camera (and possibly saying something into it), you would think the police would immediately have focused on MM had they been notified of the Dec 6th incident. I think it was unlikely he was there on Dec 6th to plant cameras, bugging devices, car trackers etc. in order to track their movements. After all, he came back to the house on Tuesday Dec 30 to commit the act between 1 AM and 4 AM when most people are at home and asleep - no need for any tracking device. Perhaps on Dec 6th (Saturday) he was hoping they would be home and was planning to commit the act then, only to find out they were away. But it is just as plausible he went there on Dec 6th to simply terrorize them knowing, via social media - (theirs or a friend of theirs) they were going to be at the game and knowing they had a ring camera. I wonder who was taking care of the children that weekend? I assume they were not in the home with a caretaker.
Lastly, given what we now know regarding MM's longstanding resentment of and threats to MT as per the affdavit and how unhinged he clearly was (especially at the end), I can only imagine MM's thought processes as he watched ST and MT's wedding video on YouTube over and over again.
That's a big question for me as well, had Monique notified LE of the threats in the past or the Dec 6th incident? Did she think MM was just being a jerk and since he lived in another state didn't really take them so seriously?

Such a tragedy for the victims and all of the families, especially those young children left behind. Thank heavens he didn't harm them.

Thinking of Monique a lot lately. This could have happened to me or to any woman. You could marry someone who’s hiding his true colors or, like Kada Scott, you could go on one date with someone or just talk to them on a dating app, and suddenly you’re in a never ending nightmare.

I keep thinking about how terrifying it had to be for Spencer and Monique, I can’t shake the feeling and sadness.

I wonder if Monique was ever contacted by those trying to locale McKee in regards to the Nevada MM suit?

I'm not sure the affidavit implies that he was simply standing around on their stoop or in their yard for hours. I suspect what they mean is that he was detected on the ring camera left the area, and then several hours later came back to be detected on the ring camera again (to further terrorize him/her) until he finally left for good. But I could be wrong - the affidavit certainly does not make that clear.

He may have went in but the cameras that captured him on the property did not capture him going in the house.

She may have been even more scared to notify LE of any incidents, thinking that would make him even worse. She may have thought he would be more vindictive because it also would probably have affected his career, which we now know he did not most likely care about his career or anything except some revenge and murder.

Agree. I think MT did not want to risk inflaming him more. I also think that is the reason she did not seek a restraining order against him. MT knew how sick and vindictive he could be.

In reality, I don't think a restraining order would have stopped MM. He was obviously determined and not deterred by any consequences.

I think we are probably going to eventually find out how many trips to Columbus he actually made. It might be more than jsut the two we know of.

I was wondering about that, if he could have left and come back, I think they are vague on purpose ( cant blame them,) could be something only the killer would know, for all we know they could have a video of it, the neighbour has one right on the side of their house pointing into the tepee yard. At least we got to know he was there on the 6th.

If it was so mundane, why did MM leave the game and return to the hotel? This was a big game. Big Ten Championship game out of town. It was not cheap either, hotel, tickets, dining out. Why leave in the middle of the game and go back to the hotel over a minor incident?
Completely agree. This was a sold out event, above freezing, no precipitation and Ohio State was ahead at halftime. Any OSU fan knows the halftime show with TBDBITL is something to see, also. It might sound bizarre to others, but she would never have left that game at halftime unless it was very very serious. What I can't figure out is why ST didn't leave with her? He felt she was safe enough to leave alone and make her way to the hotel without him and I find that to be odd.

And did she leave alone??

Maybe she called him and went off on him "never talk to me again!" type thing???

It's probably been a few years since I've posted on this site. I missed the respectful way crime is discussed here.

This case is really chilling to me. To think that Mo's "happily ever after" was tarnished by a stalker ex who eventually completely robbed her of that. For her and her husband to be killed in the middle of the night in what should have been the safety of their own home. The children.

I wonder if Mo ever reported the harassment and stalking to LE. On one hand, I can see her not reporting out of fear. On the other, I can see her reporting it and being told that they couldn't really do much unless her ex did something that met a certain threshold.

I also wonder if the alleged killer felt pushed to some edge because of how his career was going (no excuse, ever). He had a skilled, prestigious job but moved around a lot, leaving lawsuits behind him for malpractice. His life had careened out of control.

This is all just my opinion on what we've learned from documents and the media. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

His career wasn't going very well, either. He had a medical malpractice suit in NV for leaving part of a catheter inside a patient. https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-ne...-in-medical-malpractice-lawsuit-in-las-vegas/
