Yes, that is what I was saying. He did not indicate during the interview last night that a 911 call was made. He also did not say that it was related to a domestic dispute, but to ETOH use and mental health. Since the media dug up the April call, don't you think they would have found something about the previous incident if 911 was dispatched?
Regarding the supposed 911 call in April, the BIL has confirmed that it was definitely not Monique's voice on the call. There is absolutely no proof provided that the call was made inside the Tepe home. I also need to remind people that the call was labeled as a "domestic dispute" by the dispatcher, and not domestic violence.
Got it.
I disagree about your second point. While he didn’t literally state it related to a domestic dispute, he did indicate the content of that call, which was clearly a domestic dispute, was consistent with the incident he was aware of. And one of the suggested explanations he offered is that she had been drinking, and alcohol does not usually cause someone to hallucinate a partner that wasn’t there.
I did change my wording to “domestic dispute” in subsequent comments, but I don’t think “domestic violence” is an inaccurate description, given that the term is not limited to physical violence and would be generally appropriate to use to describe a situation that caused a romantic partner to be fearful enough to call 911. Really, we don’t know if it was a “dispute” either, because that requires two people and we only have one side. In one if no more recent replies, I used the description “perceived problem with an intimate partner,” which is most accurate, but I don’t think the other terms are inappropriate.
I agree the caller isn’t Monique, and I do not recall that being a point of debate due to: 1) the family saying it’s not her voice, 2) the presence of an accent that Monique doesn’t have, 3) the use of expressions that someone with Monique’s background would be unlikely to say, and 4) grammatical errors that someone with Monique’s education would be unlikely to make.
Regarding the 911 call, you’re right that we don’t know if it was coming from inside the house or outside. But it was connected to her address, and that is out of the ordinary, and anything out of the ordinary becomes more significant in a murder investigation. I would have been much quicker to dismiss its relevance if it weren’t for the BIL’s comments. That’s not to say I think it had any connection, just that it’s noteworthy.
