I'm in the valley and I have been to both protests. The problem with the what to believe issue is that the people who get interviewed by news and newspapers are the officials involved, and not only are they not supposed to talk about certain evidence, they are also liars and part of the cover ups.

Yes, it is true that 3 of the boys were offered immunity deals. They were offered at the very beginning of the investigation by Jane Hanlin, who after 2 weeks recused herself from the case because she is to personally connected to the boys. The three who got the deals are directly involved, saw everything and even admitted to taking pictures and video.
Deals are fine when appropriate, such as after investigations turn up very limited evidence and the perps may possibly get off without charges. But, these deals were given just as the investigation started. So, they were given to keep the boys out of trouble, not to get to the truth. That is one reason for the outrage. Can the deals be revoked? I haven't found a real answer. But, being that the prosecutor who made the deals did so and then recused herself from the case because of personally knowing the boys, I would be willing to bet that some higher court can revoke the deals. One more thing, Hanlin's son is in High School at Steubenville, is an athlete and hangs out with all the boys in the case. It was verified that he was at the parties, and some of his previous tweets do not indicate anything nice. Conclude what you want with that information.

Finally, some pics I took from the protest. There was a PA system setup and many brave women came forward with their stories of sexual assault/rape against them, some of which for the very first time because they realized it wasn't their fault and they have the world behind them.
The next protest is scheduled for 2/2 as we are giving the FBI time to do their thing. Come on out if you can!!!
