LANCASTER - Police are looking for a 66-year-woman who was seen leaving her apartment on Sept. 2 around 10 p.m. and has not been heard from since.
Lt. Brian Lowe identified the woman as Theresa Marie Shook. She lives alone at 141 Graceland Drive, Apt. 202. Graceland Drive is near the former Big Bear store on the city's east side.
"She only has a couple of close friends," Det. Alex Sinewe said. "Fairly estranged from family. The family is not too much in her life anymore. She's not married, has one son who she does not speak with. They do not speak together. She has a younger brother and an older sister. She's become increasingly reclusive."
He said Shook is disabled and does not work, and typically does not answer her phone when someone calls her....
Lowe said it's possible Shook could be with someone the family does not know. On a more ominous note, he also said she could be injured.
