Okay, now I'm really confused. I know I was not in this thread when I was reading isotope information about a victim from the Dallas area who had traveled before her death.

The only Doe I know who has Texas area Isotopes is Smurfette. Maybe look in your post history? I only follow a handful of cases
So how would the isotope results help in finding out who she was if she wasn't reported missing? There should be a more contracted effort in getting her picture out in those areas. But how? And why would she have not been reported missing?
I see. You posted BG's results over there as part of the petition and I thought it was new results about MVJD. I blame my declining eyesight for missing Information that shows in light blue in Tapatalk. [emoji33]

When pollen results were released for BG almost every newspaper those areas and missing person FB page shared the news.
Hopefully the same thing will happen here, and the media in that area will pick up the story. If she hadn't been reported missing, maybe someone will recognize her as someone they haven't seen in a while.
Not sure if this is a case of her not being reported missing, but if she weren't, it could be because of the time she went missing. We didn't have the same level of contact in 1981 as we do today. You had telegrams, snail mail and expensive long distance phone calls; it was not uncommon to go long periods of time without hearing from someone, especially if they were an adult. So, perhaps she wasn't reported missing because her family didn't view it that way at the time, as was the case of Reet Jurvetson. She was an adult who left home to pursue her art career in CA, and had sent a post card home just weeks before she was killed, so her family didn't really suspect something was amiss until a few years went by. She was a Jane Doe from 1969 to 2015.
Or, she could have been classified as a run away and was reported missing but LE didn't take it seriously or didn't file the report or pursue it.
Or, in the case of my theory, I believe she was from Canada, and was reported missing back in 1972, but trying to get someone to rule her out has been an up hill battle.
Another possible reason: the person who would have reported her is responsible for her death. That happens far too often.

I don't think she's from Canada, I think she's from the US like our 2 most famous Does, Cali/ Tammy Jo Alexander and Grateful Dead Fan/ Jason Callahan. You have to remember that she has not had much attention until I made an album for her. She's one of my pet cases, am thrilled with the response she's had. I'm very happy LE took our advice to test pollen and hair and I'm hoping they take it farther cause they need to
Has anyone googled to see if they put out articles in Texas and Oklahoma?
It seems like I haven't posted here in forever. In reality, it's just been a couple of days, LOL.
I agree in thinking she's not from Canada. She's had such a huge stream of attention recently, despite having next to none before. I found a whopping 3 online articles about her before. Now, she's everywhere! I'm pretty thrilled as well. Clearly, she's my pet case. Now we need an exhumation.
I haven't seen any articles about her in TX/OK area. That doesn't mean they don't exist, just I can't find many. I did see quite a few from KY/TN a few weeks ago, though. The Buckskin Girl saturation is still mainly in the Northeast. I'd love if she got some more attention in the Southwest. I also would like to see them use Carl's recon alongside the NCMEC one.
Another possible reason: the person who would have reported her is responsible for her death. That happens far too often.
