It would be nice if the OSBI at least acknowledged receiving a tip, since I don't think they are overwhelmed with them on this case. It makes me worry that they are not following up properly.

It would be nice if the OSBI acknowledged anything. A very frustrating agency to work with.

Sounds like you never heard anything back from your tip! Did you send it to 1-800-THE-LOST? Or the FBI? How can it be that it wasn't acknowledged - as you say, they are NOT overwhelmed with tips on this case.

Thank you so much for sending one in!

Did you email the tip? If you do, I would resend it, with the "read receipt" turned on. Then, you will at least know that the tip was read.

Otherwise - call them back. Tell you called in a tip and you want to know what is happening with it. If they don't play nice, try to use the word "media" somewhere in one of your sentences, LOL. I don't mean to threaten them in any way with going to the media, just something that might get their attention.

I do believe they are working on this case - but it has to be OSBI's way or no way! All that aside, I think they are hesitant to release much info, because if Hobbs get wind of it, he will run.

I want that family to take the lie detector tests. I don't understand why they would refuse and it raises my hinky meter to high alert. There is no reason to refuse or to be talking to lawyers, is there?????? :furious::furious:

I sent in one a couple of weeks ago to everybody I could find to send it to, OSBI, FBI, USMS and maybe another one or two. I never heard back or even got any acknowledgment that they received the tip. Sure would help if the agencies would at least ACT like they were following up. :banghead:

I did call 1-800-The-Lost when I didn't get a response from OSBI's email tipline within a few hours, and it felt better talking to an actual person. I suppose they just sent it along to OSBI though, and who knows what happened from there.

I'll see if I can get them to acknowledge receipt. I understand the need to be tight-lipped, but it would be nice to know they received the information.

Hey guys, had a thought- trying to keep this case alive for our little Aja's sake. Maybe we could flood the OKlahoma Dept of Human Resources with some info on Aja, some flyers, etc....and also sleuth out a bit of info as to who's receiving services such as food stamps, medical care, etc etc. (Yes, I know this is protected info but do we have any attorneys and or guardian ad litems out there that might have some info on a 7 year old child......?)
Maybe we could start here:

I just can't believe it's possible for this BLEEP! to run off with a little kid and evade detection for all this time. I thought for sure by now they would be discovered one way or another. :banghead:

Hey ya'll, I had another thought on keeping Aja in peoples' minds. Could everyone write an editorial to their local paper, saying what a shame it is that this child is in the hands of a very violent man and could be anywhere- including your town? And you think everyone should know what he looks like and what Aja looks like, just in case they are being sheltered somewhere? A lot of papers will accept editorials online.
