It makes me wonder if that sighting in OK City may have been correct. LE stated that they did not feel the car had been there for as long as Aja had been missing.
If someone was hiding him, may they rot in you know where !

It would seem, due to the location of the bodies, that the report of Hobbs's car being seen in Oklahoma City - a report about which there was much media confusion, some sites listing it as valid for hours, others declaring it invalid a short time after it was reported - was very possibly correct. I'd like an explanation from OSBI over that whole badly handled event; they apparently sent mixed signals as to the validity of the sighting, and did so at length. It seems to have been an opportunity missed while confusion reigned over what to advise the public regarding their desire to assist in finding Aja.

So, the Norman police department was told of this place months ago!!!!

This just makes my blood boil! What the @3ll is wrong with the LE in Oklahoma? They just can't seem to get it right.

What a monster kills her out in the open, yet kills himself inside his car. I hate to think what condition her body is in. Her mom was no mother. I do send prayers to her father and family.

One of the guys interviewed said he called to tell PD about this location and they told him they didn't have the manpower to check into it???!!!!???

Of course, we don't know the whole story, so I'll leave it at that.

My prayers go out to Aja's dad and family and also to the sleuths and searchers who never gave up trying to find her.

It is shocking and shameful that LE couldn't be bothered to check out the tips. Shame, shame, shame.........

I ashamed of my local LE today. Didn't have the manpower? Is that the best excuse you can come up with? That is total BS!!!! I hope some heads roll over this! How many kids have to die here before things change?

Poor, poor Aja. God rest your soul. LH, may you never find rest again. Burn in hell, you cowardly monster!

My heart is just broken, even moreso because this case just highlights the depravity and injustice of other cases, especially Caylee Anthony. I am just sick to my stomach right now...

Why do people continue to hurt children? Why must they continue to be given to people who are not worthy of being called parents, and then killed and discarded like garbage? Why kill that precious girl, it wasn't like silencing her was going to make you any less guilty of killing her mother! No, you had to kill that sweet child too and then yourself so you wouldn't face the music? I just don't get it. She didn't deserve to die! Her death only makes you look more guilty! You'll rot in hell even longer for it!

God rest her soul, and the souls of other children taken violently before their time, before they could even start living their lives! I am so sorry to keep failing them...I just have to continue to stand strong and fight for justice for all the little children! Never forget that Jesus loves you as do all of us at WS!

There is no doubt that LE blundered this search on so many levels, HOWEVER, I hesitate to blame them too quickly for not following up on these leads. Nobody said they "found" the car, only that the area should be checked as he had lived in that area. They got 1,000's of tips from OK to TX to CA, he'd lived in all those places or had family, they were all options and it just isn't possible to check them all. There was nothing to my knowledge that made this area more likely than many of the other areas. It's just a sad fact.

I guess my question is, if you're a concerned citizen, an old next door neighbor and you think that area should be checked why not do it yourself? 2 months later you know that you're odds are in your favor that you will be safe, that he's not going to be parked out there alive. If you're so sure, why do nothing? Go check your property, get your neighbors together and do a search of all your properties. I truly believe we need to not sit idly by waiting, we can all do a little part, whether that's on here sleuthing or checking your own back yard (literally).

I hope her family can find peace out of this nightmare. Aja, you are with the angels, be free sweetheart.

Not sleeping either darlin gal - I am heartbroken!

Such a beautiful baby girl with her whole life before her. Now Aja is an angel and knows how we, here at WS, did everything possible to find her - she knows how much we love and care for her.

My deepest sympathies to dad and to all those who love and care for Aja. She is a dear little girl - I feel so fortunate that she was part of my life here at WS and beyond. Everyone I know - knows about beautiful Aja.

I have this need to do something more for her. I feel heartbroken!

I'll plant more flowers....maybe you can help?

sarx I understand. We searched so many grids I cannot even begin to describe. Grids that would have taken locals little time and effort in their own vacinities.
Also- news reporting on ' resident findings' may not be 100% accurate, KWIM?
