It's not been released.
All we know is that she was badly beaten about the head, neck and abdomen. And authorities think he used a hammer to do it.

Yeah. I was hoping for an actual release. But thank you darlin gal.

The media wrote that Aja was laying next to her mom when she was being beaten. That info takes me to some very horrible scenarios that Hobbs might have created for Aja and mom. He is truly a monster! MOO

Time for an early morning bump for Aja - she belongs up front and center.

I know, I feel the same way, eyes. It's crossed my mind that the above scenario happened as described. I once had a GAL case where a mother (high on crack) beat her 14 year old son to death with a hammer, while her 12 year old daughter cowered in the corner and watched. Mother jumped in the car and left not knowing her son was dead. The 12 yr old called 911, and they caught up with mom....but obviously- the damage still done.

I wonder if LH might have done the same, only drunk...and then disappeared somewhere with Aja in the car, only realizing after the fact that he actually killed Tonya. And is telling Aja her mom is ok... he just lost his temper, she'll be fine, but people will be mad at me so we have to be very quiet...

Oriah, that's a terrible story!
Wish I could share your optimism about monster Hobbs telling Aja her mom is okay! I think he knew exactly what he was doing when murdering mom with a hammer. To tell you the truth, I have thought all along Hobbs had the entire evening planned. Seems to me Hobbs lived his life with a temper out of control. This man is so worthless - still can't imagine why he would want little Aja with him. Guess to show her dad who is the boss?

Yes, it was a terrible case. Sorry to be graphic, I probably should have marked that- sorry. But it has been in the forefront of my mind since all of this came up with Hobbs as a reminder of what people do when they are under the influence of...whatever.

I'm trying to remain optimistic because I can see it both ways.... I can see him believing Aja is better off with him because no one else is going to take care of her like he can... and I can also see that he murdered her, either by driving drunkenly into a lake or something- or intentionally in that moment, and then dumping her somewhere.

Still, I remain optimistic that she is with him- that they are both still alive- and we will find them. Maybe I'm crazy. I don't know. I just can't give that up yet. :( Ugh. This case is. Breaking. My heart.

That media-released info about Aja possibly being next to her mom on the couch has always caught my attention. What evidence are you not releasing, LE? Or is it just poor reporting? There's no doubt that, assuming Aja was in the trailer at the time, she would witness her mothers murder. The trailer is simply too small. But on the couch? If that is accurate reporting, is it just because there was nowhere else to sleep? Or because there is physical or eyewitness evidence that was the case?
I've been wondering about that since I saw that first article.

RICHARD GOSS, OKLAHOMA BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION: Lester Hobbs carried out that threat and actually used a hammer to kill his own wife, very possibly while Aja lay on the sofa next to him.

Perhaps Aja left a handprint in her mom's blood or something?

I wonder if we can get that info clarified by the OSBI. Sure could possibly help in finding Aja.

I suppose we could try, but OSBI has been less than forthcoming and communicative with information. :banghead:

Aja, not only are there a ton of people out there loving you- but there are a ton of people out there actively looking for you. Hang in there, Aja. We are going to bring you home.

Another boost to the top for beautiful Aja - Let's all hope that Hobbs doesn't celebrate with green booze!

I would be willing to bet he isn't picky about his booze.

ETA-I would be happy if he decided to go out and celebrate and someone happened to spot him.

I'd be happy about that too. As long as the someone who spotted him, called him in. And as long as the LE that got the tip responded. Or as long as the person(s) providing his cough syrup for him figure out the right thing to do, and do it. Jeez. Sorry, ya'll. Can you tell I'm frustrated??

I am totally with ya, JTSYS. :shakehead: I just can't stop thinking that somebody has to know something, don't they?
