Found Deceased OK - Aja Johnson, 7, Geronimo, 24 January 2010 - #2

I haven't been able to spend as much time here as I would like lately.Please forgive me if this has already been addressed.

Hubby owns a gas station/ auto repair shop. Did I see it mentioned Hobb's tinkered with cars? If so I could contact the auto dealers association in any areas needed and get posters to repair shops. Maybe he'll look for a quick job at a Mom and Pop place? I can also look into how to accomplish a mass hit on gas stations. Maybe our supplier has some idea how. If he's driving he needs gas, right?

Let me know if this might help and what areas.

Your offer is very nice! Hobbs does minor repairs on cars for small amounts of money to get him through the days. Apparently he is very good at 'fiddling' on cars - and what you offer sounds helpful and very kind. I live in Chicago and have no idea about the areas in OK you might visit - others on the thread will be far more informative then me.

He also hangs out in bars and pool halls. My brother in California took printed posters of Aja and tried to hang them in out-of -the-way bars and pool halls. He was told NO pics of kids could be hung by almost every place he went. His attempt to help was very short lived. Hope you have success!!!!

I'm sorry I didn't think of it sooner. My only excuse is I'm pretty new to this.
I'm in NY so I would need to know states/ areas of states to send the info to.
Also I believe there is more than one missing poster?? Whiich would be best?

Just let me know and I can start on this. Maybe I can find a way to get it out to mass auto parts stores in the areas too.

Thanks SugarQueen. OK/TX/AK/NM would be good places to start. There are two posters one in spanish, one in english. Both should go up everywhere in those particular states.

It’s been 60 days today since Aja Johnson was abducted and her mother Tonya was found beaten to death inside an RV. Since then, investigators in Oklahoma have issued a warrant for Lester Hobbs arrest charging him with first degree murder and kidnapping. I spoke with Deputy U.S. Marshal Arthur Templteton out of the Lawton office again today, and he said there has been no activity on the case. A couple of weeks ago he stated that they have, “not had anything viable on the vehicle, Aja Johnson, or Lester Hobbs,” and sadly that is still the case today. Templteton did mention that he has a meeting with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigations later today, and they have plans to discuss new ideas to keep this case in the spotlight.

A good case overview.

There are overviews, and opinions, of course. But the reality is, we still have NO EVIDENCE (at least released) of any sightings of Aja, Hobbs, or the vehicle. I know the odds, I have seen them happen first hand. I have very little faith in the OSBI. I am still not willing to give up on this child.

We will search Lake Thunderbird again, and we will bring water dogs. But I am not giving up on this child yet.

Oh Aja.....I think what breaks my heart more than anything else is not even that you get bumped down so often....but that there are s many others that need to be bumped up as well.

I've e-mailed Tx and OK service station associations for help in distributing posters. Hopefully, I'll hear back from them tomorrow. If not I'll follow up with phone calls. Still trying to locate the organizations for the other states (if they exist).

I'll see the manager from my fuel supplier Wed. or Thurs. I'll pick his brain for the easiest way to get the posters out to gas stations. What I'm looking to do is get the flyers to fuel suppliers and have them dropped of when fuel is delivered. Stations are more apt to put them up that way.
