Additional child abuse charges were lodged against a Bokchito woman accused of carrying a child's remains across the country in plastic tubs.

DURANT — A Bryan County judge added two counts of child abuse to charges already filed on Denise Wolf after her stepdaughters testified Wednesday they saw her abuse their now-deceased sister.

Wolf, 42, of Bokchito, will go to trial as a result of Wednesday's preliminary hearing. She had been charged in Bryan County with enabling child abuse, child abuse by neglect and unlawful removal of a body.

Cheyenne Wolf's father, Able Wolf, is charged with enabling child abuse, child abuse by neglect and unlawful removal of a body. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing, Redman said.

Hmmmm, I thought home schooled kids were required to take tests & that was a way for the state to make sure they were being schooled properly, is that true?

These folks look like a couple of inbreds & I hope they rot in hell for what they did to this precious child.

Denise Wolf gets five counts of life in prison for child abuse

Denise Wolf smiled and laughed during a sentencing hearing this morning where she was given five counts of life in prison for abusing her stepdaughter by beating her and tying her up, and then toting the girl’s remains across country as if they were trash.

District Attorney Emily Redman told the court this morning that she recommended Wolf’s sentences be set consecutively, and that a pre-sentence report also recommended that. Wolf’s attorney, James Thornley, asked that the sentences be served concurrently.

District Judge Mark Campbell said that the evidence presented during the trial was overwhelming and showed beyond all doubt the defendant’s guilt.

Redman then said she wanted the court record to reflect that Wolf was smirking and laughing. Campbell told Wolf she showed no remorse and that her behavior was more evidence of her being evil.

“The legislature does not allow me to give you the punishment you deserve,” Campbell said, in announcing that the sentences will be served consecutively. “You will draw your last breath behind the walls of a state prison. You are unfit for society.

“If you ever have a conscience, I hope you are haunted ... for all that you did, but I don’t think you will be because you are smiling and smirking,” Campbell said.

Wolf, when asked if she wanted to appeal, said she did not because it was pointless. Campbell then ordered her removed from the courtroom and taken back to jail.

Oklahoma man sentenced to 3 life terms for child abuse, moving body

DURANT (AP) — A Bryan County judge has sentenced a man to three life imprisonment terms, plus five years, for child abuse and moving the remains of his 12-year-old daughter.

District Judge Mark Campbell imposed the life terms Thursday on Abel Wolf for enabling child abuse and child abuse by neglect. Wolf received five years for unlawful removal of a dead body.

Three life terms and five life terms. I,for one, will sleep better tonight just knowing that sometimes, they really do get what they deserve.
Unfortunately, it sounds like at least the step abuser (I can't connect the word mother to her in any way) has already adjusted quite well to prison, more than Cheyenne ever was able to in the hell she lived in.

Smile, Cheyenne, their lives are essentially over. Justice is served.
