And too it is, after all, still Daryn's personal property they'd be infiltrating.

Yes, that was a concern I was going to add on my original reply earlier, but got sidetracked.

Nothing new on the MSM front. No updates on Hood River County Sheriff's site.

(Bellringer has lost his bell due to federal sequestration, and thus will have to shout.)

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Next bellringer will lose his voice, and thus dog will have to bark!!!:floorlaugh:

This may be an unimportant question, but it's one I have. Has anyone been able to verify that Daryn in fact went to the RenFaire on May 18-20, 2013?

TIA...

I find 20 "Darraby"-related tweets on the Twitter right now, plus another three without the nickname but referencing Daryn Collie. Not exactly a landslide but it's something.

Better than nothing...Thanks Woofie!

Also, at this hour, the NamUs page has not been updated to reflect the locating of the car on 03 June and the identifying it as Daryn's on 06 June.

Is it known if his brother went inside his home or saw the cat that last night?

Just thinking out loud...what if he left the cat at home while he was in NY and something happened to her? My cats are like my kids (better behaved even) and I'd flip out if one of them was hurt/dead.

I just think that if someone was cat sitting, they'd have come forward by now. JMO

I can't vouch for sitters, but I can say that if Daryn dropped that cat off at a vet/boarder/shelter anywhere close to his home or points "left" or in Oregon and points "right" even and we don't find evidence of it through our "Cat Crew Calling Campaign," well then I really am going to start calling "Miss Gypsy" "Gypsy the Pooka." Seriously...if Daryn dropped her off at any of those types of facilities, we'll find out about it. :)

I saw that. I wonder if LE has verified the change for NamUs?

We can get you a bell...LOL

I don't think a bell's in the budget...end of current fiscal year and all. I think the best we can do is get you an aluminum pie pan and a big serving spoon from Dollah Gen'l.

As long as there is a lemon meringue pie in there first, and ya gotta share! :)

OMG, you just crack me up! I was thinking we could go to the Dollah Tree, it would be 2.00 plus tax for both items...LOLOLOL We will have to set out his donation bucket in order to raise that....LOL:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Here is some interesting information about the Zig Zag Trailhead, the supposed location where the vehicle was found:

http://nwhiker.com/MHNFHike32.html

Apparently the start of the Zig Zag Trail was moved from the Polallie Trailhead to its current location because of "mother nature". The Polallie Trailhead is just a little further up north on Highway 35 and appears to be a more widely-used and clearly-marked location with more parking space.

Map of Polallie Trailhead:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=45.4175,-121.5701(Polallie_Trailhead)

Map of Zig Zag Trailhead:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=45.4109,-121.5706(Zig_Zag_Trailhead)

Here are some things to consider: If you wanted to leave a vehicle at a location where it doesn't seem out of place, would you leave it at the less obvious Zig Zag Trailhead or the more obvious Polallie Trailhead just a little further up the highway? If you were Daryn or an abductor who was meeting someone, which location would make a better meeting spot? What does the choice of location say about the geographic knowledge of the persons involved and their familiarity with the area. How does the removal of the license plate relate to the choice, or the lack of choice, of the location? How does the vehicle being found out of gas relate to the choice of location?

Just some things I've been thinking about.

It startles the dog enough when I'm just shouting.

checking out for the night. Hoping tomorrow brings better news. Hugs to all. What we do does make a difference.

Nodding. Sometimes in a very big way.
