''KANSAS, Oklahoma — A third person has been charged with murder in connection with the disappearance and suspected death of an Oklahoma man over a decade ago.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) said 31-year-old Bradley Wayne Majors now joins James Merritt Larson Jr., 42, and Penny Larson, 40, in facing charges for the murder of 20-year-old Dustin Carver.''
"Carver's deceased body was lying on a burn pile with a knife sticking out of Carver's chest on the upper right side. [The witness] observed Carver's personal belongings being burned in a burn barrel," the report said. Investigators later found human remains in the pile.
According to the affidavit, the previous district attorney would not file charges until the remains had been successfully identified as Carver.
The case remained cold until July 2025, when a former cellmate of James' in Missouri came forward and explained James had confessed to killing a man in Oklahoma.
"James said he tortured the guy, slit his throat and put him in a burn pile," the former cellmate told investigators.''
