Circumstances of Disappearance in 1982, Gwendolyn was 16 years old when she was dropped off by her sister at the Grey hound bus station in Oklahoma City, OK. She was to travel by bus to San Bernardino, CA to meet her mother and attend high school. She did not arrive in San Bernardino and has not been seen or heard from again. Law enforcement was contacted in 1982 and declined to take a missing person report. Her mother hired a private investigator and received no results. It is unknown if she got on the Greyhound bus in Oklahoma City when it departed. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time she was last seen.

This is a great find! As well as the identifying features matching closely, the unidentified decedent was found with items that suggested she was travelling, which is a good fit surrounding the circumstances in which the missing person was last seen.

Details of Disappearance
Gwendolyn was last seen in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 1, 1982. Her sister dropped her off at the Greyhound bus station so she could take a bus to San Bernardino, California to meet up with her mother and attend high school. She never arrived and it's not even clear whether she got on the bus at all. She has never been heard from again.

Although Gwendolyn's family contacted law enforcement about her disappearance in 1982, they refused to take a missing persons report at the time. Her mother hired a private investigator who was unable to find her. Her disappearance went unreported until 2022. Her case remains unsolved.

Same! Looks like the school year in California started in August during the 80’s, so maybe. She could have boarded a bus bound for Florida, which would pass through TX an LA along the way.
