"Hippygriff" "Subspecies23""futureworldruler" is an anomaly in the great game that is KoL. He deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law for what he has done, and the press, public, and critics should know that KoL is not the next GTA San Andreas, or Sims 2, which have come to tarnish the gaming industry through the twist and spin that the modern press inflicts upon our society.

PURCELL, Oklahoma (CNN) -- On Kevin Ray Underwood's blog, the 26-year-old described himself as "single, bored and lonely."

He also wrote about last Christmas as being "one of the best Christmases ever to me," according to an Associated Press report, but the same blog contained the question, "If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?"

"My fantasies are getting weirder and weirder," he wrote in another entry. "Dangerously weird. If people knew the kinds of things I think about anymore, I'd probably be locked away."

Underwood was in a Oklahoma jail cell Monday under a suicide watch, awaiting a 1:30 p.m. CT arraignment in the slaying of a 10-year-old girl, according to McClain County Sheriff Don Hewett.

The body of Jamie Rose Bolin was found late Friday in a plastic tub hidden in a bedroom closet in Underwood's apartment in Purcell, south of Oklahoma City, District Attorney Tim Kuykendall said. According to a police affidavit, Underwood confessed to killing the girl.

I am so sorry for the Bolin family, as well as KU's family. From what I've read so far I don't think there was anything anybody could have done to prevent this - unless he had been confined. Would a medical professional been able to foresee this? I don't think so. I think he had lived so close to the edge for so many years that there was no saving him. Just my opinion.

I don't think so either, cathieq. The best predictor of future behavior is past behaviors. This reptile apparently had no violent acting out behaviors that we know of. Had he been a responsible adult, he would have gotten himself some help. He himself said he knew he'd be "locked away" if people knew what was going on his mind. Someone bent on suicide will not clearly reveal their plans...unless they hope someone can intervene on their behalf and help them help themselves. So, too, someone bent on violence against others has a choice to make. Kevin knew his fantasies were sick...but he chose to act on them. One must choose to allow oneself to be seduced by evil or not. God gave man free will. 'Least that's how I see it.

He states several times he was taking medication called Lexapro.... if you read through his archives, he's gone off and on it several times. While I can respect MAISEYJANE'S speculation of some illness including Aspergers..... I think he is simply an antisocial personality. Irregardless, it will never matter to me what he has. There's some speculation my 2nd child has a form of Aspbergers..... AND SHE IS COMPLETELY able to be accountable for her actions. The problem is that families don't always jump up and say, yes, he killed the family cat. As in dysfunctional familes, they may have thought him slow and that excused any behavior. I don't believe this is a total shock to the family but an uninformed shock.They may not know what it means but they knew what he did before and didn't equilvalate it.

Family is in denial hugely because reading his blogs, his mother's been helping him or recommending Zoloft and other meds to help him. SHE KNEW SOMETHING was not right with him. Especially her being aware of his huge antisocial issues.

Hi, blueclouds. Although the family might have sensed he had some problems, this is a 26 year-old man. I don't believe the family can be faulted in any way here...even if they were aware of his social isolation...which is different than antisocial issues. Antisocial generally refers to criminal, destructive, acting-out kinds of behaviors.

Anyone who enters a facility is automaticaly on suicide watch.This is until they are booked and scored low on a questionaire or cleared by Mental Health.I do not know why the media always throws out there that a person with a high profile case is on suicide watch.

Police say the grocery store worker said he planned to eat the little girl -- and wear her skin. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

I haven't read his blogs with the exception of a piece of one that someone posted on here. But while I was reading that part of his blog I kept thinking that it was to bad he just sat and journaled basically putting his thoughts and feelings down on a computer blog. What if he had been in counseling and had been able to talk to a therapist about those same thoughts and feelings?
Would it have made a difference? Would a therapist have known what type of medication to give him? I just thought it was kind of pitiful that a person used a computer to communicate with instead of a human being. It seemed that he had shut himself away from the outside world with the exception of going to work. I wonder how he managed to maintain at work everyday. It sounds like he worked every day even though he didn't have the energy to do anything else.

When a person is having the kind of thoughts that this guy was having is there anything that can be done for him....before he reaches the point that he does such a horrible thing to a little girl? I mean, could he have even been helped or is that just pure evil showing itself?

I can't even imagine how little Jamie's dad and grandmother will ever survive this horror. How does a person ever get it out of their mind? How do you keep from just going crazy knowing what your child went through? I can't stand to think of what this little girl and Jessica Lunsford went through and the depraved people that were the last faces those little girls saw. Here were two dads trying to raise their little 10 yr. old daughters along with help from the grandparents. Life is just so darn unfair a lot of the time.

And I agree with the suicide watch. Gotta throw that out there. It would have been better for him to take his own life than the little girls. Then of course, no one would have known about the monster inside him.

I am sure that many of you have heard me say this before....but 10 year olds are children who need SUPERVISION. Why in the world was she allowed to go to the library by herself and why was she allowed to chat online with strangers with no supervision?

I am in NO WAY blaming the dad or grandmother, but our children are a God given gift that we must look after. Yes, bad things can still happen, and do. But we certainly reduce that risk by taking every precaution that we can. I keep seeing this over and over here and it absolutely breaks my heart when it could have been prevented.

Parents: There are sick, sick perverts out there that want to kidnap, rape, murder (and in some instances eat) your children! Keep your eyes them all you can!!!! Adults: Do everything you can to watch out for children. Be alert to anyone who is acting strange, watch those children whose parents are not and step in if you see a child that needs help. We have to put a stop to this insanity!

I reads about this yesterday, shadesof Jeff Dahmer here. Same sad, alienated type of person. I am sure his defence will be depression and perceived social injustice. I say here and now that as a society we are all sick of these depraved people using our innocent child population to satisfy themselves. Hang him high., no excuses , no tears just death.One less to scare our kids. I have no sympathy for him. My tears are only for his victim and I can share in some pain as i feel just awful for her dad and family. I wish she could be returned to them alive and bright.
