I just finished reading that topix thread on them. Talking about trippin. Those were some rude arse posters over there! I'll just stay in my little hollow, all by my lonesome.

Their always rude over there.
Try the Ramsey threads... it gets really bad.
I stay away but sometimes I peek over there.

Granny, your work on the Jamison case is just awesome! Thank you!

I do have one more idea for you. Have you thought about emailing Andrew Knittle? He is the reporter who mentioned the coords being released by the Sheriff. I have wanted to email him several times, but my writing is horrible. Maybe he could at least get us an update.

Here's his address: [email protected]

Hmm, there's a thought...

Granny, I'm a five foot, 110 pound fart, and I drive a big ole honker. Nothing macho about me the last time I looked. I just like big ole trucks. ;)

Oh, I hear ya. Back home in the boonies lots of folks drove one, and I even owned a couple myself. But I'm living in the big city now and still see them big ol' honkin' trucks driving around, some jacked up so high I can see their undercarriage when they pull up next to my little zipmobile. Too high for me to see who's driving, so I guess I'm just assuming they're all "macho" guys, lol.

That area is filled with Meth labs. I think the family was abducted and killed by drug dealers.

"Oklahoma - A push last week by Oklahoma law enforcement resulted in 29 arrests on drug-related offenses, as well as the seizure of various drugs and weapons. The District 16 Drug Task Force, which covers LeFlore and Latimer counties, participated in Operation Byrne Drugs 2 as part of a national week of stepped-up drug enforcement efforts, according to a news release from District Attorney Jeff Smiths office. In a phone interview Monday, Smith said the District 16 task force had the most arrests last week of any of the 19 tasks forces in the state, as well as the largest amount of drugs, money and firearms confiscated." http://www.usnodrugs.com/news.htm?cid=4548&s=Oklahoma

"Busting a meth lab solves half of the problem, but creates another. The toxic residues left behind by meth labs can cause medical problems ranging from headaches to possibly even cancer. So who cleans up after a meth lab is found in a house? And how much cleaning has to be done? News On 6 anchor Omar Villafranca did some investigating, he reports the answers can be frightening. A man we are calling David bought his first house last year. "We absolutely fell in love with it, David said. I mean, it was everything we were looking for and more." One month later his family dream home turned into a three-bedroom nightmare. A police officer stopped me in my driveway and tell me for sure that it was a methamphetamine lab," http://www.usnodrugs.com/news.htm?cid=4281&s=Oklahoma

Am re-reading Thread #9 and see where sleuther Mr. Noatak mentioned that he's a handwriting analyst with 30+ years experience and indicated that he might be interested in analyzing Sherilyn's writing from her journal pages. I searched his posts to see if he ever followed up but couldn't find anything. A pity, really. I'd like to see what he might find there.

After I had seen "Paradise Lost" back in 2010, I followed the forums for a while to find out as much information as possible. Then I kind of got "out of the loop", so to speak, until the remains were found.

Reading throu the topix thread:facepalm: there are a couple kernels of info in that cornfield. Some nasty comments that are unbelievable. I will have to go back and try to find the relevant threads if they are still there.

Thank you, OkieGranny, for the timeline.

I do have a cohesive thought but I do have a couple questions that have been addressed but I can't find the threads.

How far was the neighbor (DC?) from the site where the truck was found? I saw a couple different answers on that.
Did DC have any connections with KB?

Very sad for this family and I'm very disturbed by the LE statement of no "foul play" if, indeed, the remains are of the Jamison's. I feel that statement will set a precedent for the murder/suicide theory with a bow on top. Done, solved, no investigation needed. I don't think this was a m/s by any means.

I have to go over my notes and put them in order to try at least make sense so I don't look like a total doofus with my first jump into the pool!

DC's property is near the foot of the well site road, south of where the truck was found. I have no idea if he'd ever met KB. I think DC had recently moved to the area, possibly from California? Am not sure where I picked up that info, but it seems like it had something to do with the lady on the mountain (PC) handling the delivery of his shipping container to his property because he wasn't there yet.

You can find lots of background info on the family over at the Find the Jamisons page on Facebook.

OkieGranny what is your feeling on the drug connection?

It's a good possibility. Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time and paying dearly for it.

I just saw the real estate virtual tour of their house that you posted. Such a beautiful home. Must have been a tough decision to leave that and move into a storage container. How do you go from 4 BR 2 bath house with a boat slip to a box with no running water? smh

Mmm, I'm not so sure that was a concrete plan. They did have a shipping container at their Eufaula house that they were using as a makeshift storage shed, and maybe they read or heard something about turning such a container into a home and were toying with the idea.

But Sherilyn and Bobby had been long-term residents of the OKC metro area before moving to Eufaula. They were not country folk and were not accustomed to roughing it. A shipping container turned mountain cabin with no running water and no electricity might work as an occasional weekend getaway, but actually living in that kind of setup 24/7 with a small child? I just don't see it.

If they did have such a plan and had managed to carry it out, I don't think they would've lasted very long before high-tailing it back to a more comfortable style of living.

Mapman, question for you. In this map --

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=39400&d=1386550709

-- does the dotted line curving around by the HRD hits (between the letter U and E in the word BLUE) indicate a road, even a dirt road?

If so, I think the likelihood of murder just rose in my mental thermometer.

On the USGS topo maps trails or very small roads are usually shown with a single dashed line. Roads probably passable with a vehicle are usually shown with two parallel dashed lines, and larger roads are usually shown with wider solid lines. The dashed line you are talking about was probably interpreted as a trail by the map maker based on aerial photos many years ago. Features such as roads have changed a lot over the years, and if you are interested in seeing detail you need to look at satellite images.

I have attached a satellite image of the area of the HRD clues. To make the file small enough to upload I had to cut parts of the map and reduce the resolution, and because websleuths compresses the image file during the upload at the expense of resolution to conserve disk space I'm not sure how much detail you will see on the image. If you zoom in enough you should see the yellow clue markers. Two of them have a “D” in the description to indicate double markers because two pairs of the clues were the same spot. I also placed the UTM grid on the map, and you should be able to see the faint white grid lines which are spaced at intervals of 10 meters.

These points are close together which is what I would expect because I wouldn't expect human remains to be scattered all over Panola mountain. I suspect that these clues were ultimately determined not to be human remains or at least not confirmed as human remains. I have been told that dogs have difficulty distinguishing between human remains and pig remains. When the dogs hit on a spot they might bring in a second dog to verify the hit and then search for actual remains to evaluate. I don't recall LE ever indicating that they found human remains so I believe that the clues were probably never verified as human remains. If human remains had been confirmed and located, LE would have done DNA testing.

It is not surprising to me that the clues were found outside of the mapped search areas that we know of. I would expect the search to extend outside of those areas although probably on a much less intense scale. The searchers probably ran their dogs along the roads outside of the mapped search areas looking for the Jamisons trail/scent or evidence of human remains. JMO.

If you want to take a closer look at the location with Google Earth, the coordinates for the “Y” road intersection on the map are 35.021285, -95.191711.
