Good to see Maisie!

Thank you for posting this. I had to click on "previous" at the top of the page to get the last part of the story for anyone that didn't see it.
I thought they did an excellent job producing the story.
It was good to know that the ex-sheriff also believes that the Jamisons were murdered. Maybe he will finally be able to solve this case as he said he would way back at the beginning.

I thought they did a good job too. I learned a couple new things. It was a good review. And I agreed with the points they made. Why would they leave their beloved doggie in that truck to die if it was a murder suicide. Why not take the puppy along with them? Or kill themselves at the vehicle?

This has always been the most fascinating case to me. I feel at this point it seems like a drug deal gone bad. 32k sounds like the price for a k/g of meth/cocaine.. I took criminal justice courses and that amount always struck me as a "drug amount." of cash. It is not normal for people to have that amount of cash on them, even if they were buying land. It makes no sense.

This could also be the reason that LE is not releasing much information.. I also remember the surveillance video of the family loading the truck (going in and outside of the home) and there was an unidentified person in the full surveillance video. This was talked about, but I do not believe anything ever came up.

They could have been informants and lured to there death under a possible ruise of a normal drug transaction. But the problem with that is the money would have been taken by the criminals. They may have witnessed something on a high criminal level and were killed because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The problem with that though; is the amount of money in the car concealed.

I do not believe bigfoot killed them, or they went on a nature walk and froze to death. Suicide/Murder would be my next theory but that makes absolute no sense given the information we now have. The witness who found the bodies clearly noted a bullet hole in the back of the skull. It would be hard for an animal to make such a hole, and given the mysterious circumstances of the entire case I am going with the guy's word who found the remains. It all comes down to follow the money in my opinion. Drug deal gone bad/feuding family.

I doubt it will ever get solved.

This is one of those cases I spent hours and hours going through the threads, reading everything.

I am glad they were found, of course. If they were in fact shot I am going to guess it was someone else and not a murder suicide thing, because why would they leave their dog and all that money in the vehicle if they were going to do that. They probably had the money with them for a reason, and didn't think they were going to be away from the vehicle for an extended period. I don't know if it was someone they had planned on meeting or if they just happened upon someone and saw something they shouldn't have, but I definitely think someone else was involved. The only thing I don't understand is that if it was some kind of drug deal, why didn't they bring the money with them when they got out of the car, and why bring their little daughter along on a drug deal? Maybe the money did have something to do with buying some property there as suggested earlier. Maybe they were making some arrangement with someone privately, who was doing something not so legal and they just didn't realize that not how it's done an brought cash along. But again, then why are they dead and the cash was not taken? Still so many unanswered questions.

If I remember right, there was a cash settlement and it was divided between Bobby and Sherilyn. The cash under the driver's seat (Bobby's?) was not taken, but there was talk of money in a briefcase that was put in the truck (Sherilyn's?) which was not found and that could have been taken. The person may not have known of the second cache.

I agree with the money. If it was a drug deal gone bad, why not take the money from the car? One possibility is that (there was another cash bundle that the wife may have had-- discussed in the prior threads.) they could have tried to say they only had half of the payment to the possible dealers, and chaos could have followed. I feel the lack of finding the wife's pistol, and talks of another large amount of cash missing fitting this scenario. It has been said the Wife had a temper, and if she pulled a gun on the wrong person/persons they may have killed her. Things can happen very quickly with shady things...

As far as the child. Parents often take children on drug transactions in hopes that it deters possible harm to them. "I have a child with me.". People are awful sometimes, unfortunately. Sometimes having a child with you won't save you from a ruthless drug dealer/dealers/criminals.

I also am curious, who wound up with the money in the car? I think it's not impossible that a hit was set-up possibly by a beneficiary who "knew" that the money in the vehicle could just be a ruse and that it would eventually come back to them. But then again, if there was another sum of money missing... I'm leaning more towards a drug deal gone haywire like above.

I would say it's a 0% chance they went on a nature walk and were found skulls down (possible bullet wound top of the head on the father.) 2 miles from there car. They were missing for a while, the scattered remains and bones could have been moved via animal activity. 4 skulls "face down" seems like an execution. If one of the Jamisons was killed first then the other simply could have had no reason to tell there killer/s that there is "more money in the car" it could have been too late for that.

Also the guy dressed up like a police officer/fbi agent walking in and out of the house with the family (walking like zombies.) on the surveillance video the day they went missing probably knows what happened. My 2c.

I can't find the surveillance video. it used to be on YouTube, and was a few minutes long.

Wow, I am glad you posted this! It fits perfectly with the point I was trying to make regarding the missing "other" money believed to be the same/similar amount.

Land seller should be able to clarify the terms / cash downpayment ect.. Unless trying to avoid some taxes by a cash transaction .
I don't believe the dog was intentionally left with no plans to return .

I haven't looked at the video in a long time but I remember not believing that there was another person in it.

I'm sure there's a lot of discussion on that in the many threads on this case.

Big mouths, drug problems, and cash money.

But they weren't shot...

Big mouths, drug problems, and cash money.

Agree 100000000%.

I feel this is the same reason for a lot of similar cases as well.

Sorry if this has been covered already, but it's been such a long time and my memory is a little foggy...
Do we know what medication(s) Bobby was on for his pain management?
Do we know or have an idea what sort of treatment Bobby had been receiving for his debilitating back pain (and then cancer)? And more specifically, which drugs?
Do we know if they had health insurance at the time of their deaths?
Were they able to pay off all their medical expenses an/or if they were in any medical debt?

TIA if anyone knows!
