Oriah was asking about the search teams involved in the Jamisons search effort. After going through different videos, I found one named: Search One Rescue Team. They are out of Lewisville, TX. and do searches nationwide.

Was it a bank bag as in old timey robber bank bag, or did they mean one of those vinyl zipper things?

AMD posted on Topix that, Sheriff Robbie Brooks has resigned. Has anyone heard if this is true or just a rumor?

I might call and see when I get back from vacation on the 17th.

That topix link was the worst one yet. I think Wfgodot should run for Sheriff there. At least he could teach them to write.

:floorlaugh:

And speaking of Wfgodot ,he has not logged on since Mid march, which worries me as he is a very social poster and post often ,so I hope he is okay.

He's back, highly appreciative of those concerned enough about him to fret, and reports that, although he was away for a time, he saw neither hide nor hair of the Jamison trio. Regrettably. Not even at WalMart this morning.

Can you start checking the thrift stores? Because if she is alive she is shopping in them. Since she would be starting life all over with no cash car and a child in tow,all while trying to aviod being on the grid. I dont think you will find them but I can give you a list of things I like.

I dunno about them not updating the home page ,except a clue might be in who the admins are to certain areas of the website. Which one is Brooks and 2 other people so maybe they havent located admin keys yet for the rest?

I have seen the Disappeared show on this missing family a couple of times. While watching the latest airing, it occurred to me that the family could have been transported from the area where their truck was found. In other words, they were forced into a vehicle and then transported somewhere else. Does this scenario seem like a possibility? I apologize, if this has been discussed already.

This is most likely another question discussed on this thread, but . . . I'm curious. Is it a normal practice to bring a large sum of cash to buy land in OK? I'm also under the impression the family was only looking at the land. They weren't buyers yet, so I can't see why they would bring such a large amount along with them. Wouldn't there have been a phone call or email connecting this planned transaction with the seller? If they were meeting someone, how did they communicate with this person? If they weren't meeting anyone, why would they drive around with thousands of dollars in their vehicle? Why not leave it in the bank? This suggests that something else was going on. Yet, why bring the child into a potentially dangerous situation, if it was drug related? I don't know what to make of it all.

Sorry, missed this one. I shall diligently oversee all area thrifts, though I don't leave town much and there are only two of them here. I can't see any of the trio or duo or one adult, singular, hanging around in the 4-State area after whatever nefarious thing has happened (oh, that 4-State is SE KS, NE OK, SW MO, and NW AR, btw), really, but my eyes are always peeled (and they're getting sore from all that peeling!) in search of the Jamisons.

"Sore," is right! Maybe even blistered!

I did notice that the Topix thread on the Latimer county Sheriff, has been removed. I posted the link a few posts back.

Kind of off topic, but

I have tv on and Mudcats is on History channel now. They are hand fishing in Lake Eufaula. What a small world.

I know these shows are tapes, but I keep thinking that it would be something if they pulled up a skeleton rather than a catfish!

I thought about that too . I also find myself watching the crowds at the contest to see if anyone I have sleuthed is there!!

Really scarey watching them..

I hate to do this, but I have to ask.

I watched the Ling special the other night on this family.

At the time it was recorded she said that the area where the cell phones pinged off of had never been searched. I thought they had?

TIA for anyone that can clear that question up for me. There are 10 threads for this family and I can't seem to find the answer in search function. My apologies.

Are you sure you are not referring to the McStay family disappearance case?
