I still have my money on Jack or Billy. Hell who knows maybe they were in cahoots. At this point in this case NOTHING would shock me....Well I suppose, aliens would shock me. But other than that...I am unshockable.

LOL. Space aliens or Bigfoot wouldn't shock me in this case; werewolves or zombies would mildly shock me; space aliens working in cahoots with Bigfoot, werewolves, or zombies would shock me. Though not that much.

My fortnightly "I've come full circle AGAIN" trend about has me believing once more that they left voluntarily and are hiding out - were it not for that $30,000+ left behind.

I don't think that she would have left her son behind if that was the case. I just had this conversation earlier this morning...lol, and I sure hope they wouldn't have left the dog for dead. I had always wondered how they would have left.. Not only are all of their vehicles accouted for (not that they couldn't have bought a different car with the $$), but the neighbor says that he never saw another car come back down that day. He said we wasn't exactly watching for them, but that it is basically a dead end road at the top of the mountain, so much like gravity, what goes up must come down.

I have to agree with you, mtrooper. Jack is the one I keep coming back to. He had the biggest motive of all!

I'm still not sure about Billy Mangum being involved. According to Sherilyn and his divorce papers, neither one had to pay child support. Billy was given custody of their son, for fear some type of harm might come to him.

Very frustrating case!

I apparently have missed something...Billy was given custody for fear that some type of harm would come to his and Sherilyn's son....harm from whom?

Also, where are these divorce papers...I guess I missed them too.....too many threads to keep up with (!)

You have to go to the bottom:

6-23-2009 O DOC. (#1009904143)

The way I read it, Billy was afraid Sherilyn would be the one to harm their son.

<snip>

IIRC, their son had suffered burns to his face. Not sure this was related to the custody matter at hand, but it would seem likely ??

Thanks, silly. I didn't know that.

I hope someone else will corroborate that tidbit little, because I can't remember what our source was (or if i was dreaming).

I'm sure you didn't dream it. Maybe mtrooper knows.

Hmmmm, I don't remember anything about burns, and didn't see anything in the emergency court order...but I will find out.

THE BURNS- COLTON ALWAYS GOT A HUGE BOX OF FIREWORKS FOR THE 4TH
VIA THE INTERNET. HE AND 2 OF HIS FRIENDS, (IF I REMEMBER WHAT I WAS TOLD), WERE CLOWNING AROUND AND NOT BEING "SAFE". A FIRE IN THE BACKYARD WAS STARTED. COLTON DID NOT WANT TO GET INTO TROUBLE AND THOUGHT HE COULD PUT THE FIRE OUT. HE THREW HIS BODY ON IT AND ROLLED. LENGTHY STAY IN THE BURN UNIT IN (I THINK) MUSKOGEE FOLLOWED.

because of the problems bobby and sherilyn had been having- (arguments had gotten worse) and her emotional state, colton told his dad he wanted to come live with him. Being that she was bipolar, billy was concerned. Also, she had told me that she agreed to whatever because of the child support. Billy had told her that if she did not agree to things he would insist she pay child support. She knew she could not afford support, so she caved.

Topix/Eufaula Update

Interesting exchange between "Thank You" and "from Red Oak OK," the former here replying to the latter:

from Red Oak OK wrote:
I have read your posts about only one way in or out, well there is many ways out but the roads are so crazy up there because they start out going to well sites and then to another and so on, so if you didn't know your way around there you would get lost!! (...) and yes there are some really strange people up there, i know because we have came across some of them (...) the land they sell up there you can't get ele, water or anything else to it because it would cost so much because it is so off the beaten path. the land is just long narrow tracts not worth anything. the hills are so rocky and steep in areas that you couldn't walk them if you tried.but there is atv trails all up there and most of them go in a circle in a round about way! you could get lost so easy!! (...)

Thanks for the info. I sure am glad we didn't go. I have since learned just how close where we were going was to where they disappeared. I figured out the guys trying to sell us land definitely sold land on the same mountain where the Jamison's disappeared THE DAY we were supposed to go (...) I found a document with the land owners names (and their staff's names) about a real ugly neighbor dispute on Panola mountain and decided not to risk it. I have no reason to believe the land sellers are involved in the disappearance of the Jamison family but they were definitely up to no good buisiness wise and it was weird they would not tell us where exactly the land was.
...
So maybe we can now add "real ugly neighbor dispute" to the long, long list of possibilities of what the heck happened to the three Jamisons.

There has been more court doc. added to the probate of Bob D.'s will. http://www.oscn.net/applications/oc...=caseGeneral&casemasterID=2551780&db=Oklahoma

They now state that Starlet has been appointed Administrator. Jack and Amos waived their rights due to the, Global Family Settlement Act.

What the heck is going on?

Without access to the settlement it is impossible to say what happened. Looking at the value of the estate of the will that was probated, it is much less than what we originally thought, $76k versus $500k.

I can surmise the following:

It was the second will that was deemed valid by the court since it was the one written in 2008.

The sole heir under this will is little Stormy and Starlet, her grandmother is the guardian of the estate of Stormy.

For reasons not clear, the parties, i.e. Starlet and Bobby Sr's brothers agreed in some way to divide the rest of the property outside of the estate. This is possibly due to the fact that some of it may still have been titled under the trust that Bobby and Starlet had before the divorce. If that is the case, the Starlet may have agreed to pay the brothers a share of what she took in order to end the litigation.

This resolution at least leaves something in trust for the granddaughter, which might have been lost had the brothers won on each count.

Just my take on it.
