I just looked at the pic of the 'berms.'

Could these be from grading out the road?

But, if we are thinking something like, possible burial site, then
I would have thought dogs would have discovered that
as soon as the search began.

Good point dreamweaver. I'd sure think the dogs would pick up on that. Kinda rules it out then, imo. I'm just grabbing at straws here, cause that's all I've got.

A road grader would leave behind something that's kind of triangular in shape, like an inverted V. Also, they'd be pushing gravel up, and the berms appear devoid of gravel. Found a pic from this link:

I think this will provide an idea of how earth and gravel are shoved to the side by the blade of a road grader. The blade can be turned to grade the left side of the roadway.

mtrooper, can you tell us what's deceptive about the truck photo?

I am sorry to say this but I dont have any good pictures from where the truck was parked. I thought I took a couple of them...I will see if I can get the lady that lives up there to send me some. She has been kind enough to send me some of the news articles that they have had on the Jamisons in the last month or so.

Wow, thanks for the pics, mtrooper. Can you go back and label them as to what we're looking at, and where they were shot in relation to where the Jamison's truck was found. I can see the oil well head or capped well. Not sure what I'm looking at exactly, just know it's oil well related.

I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering why the Jamisons were carrying around spray paint in their truck? It appears they had both light blue and a darker blue, so a minium of two cans. I'm guessing they were just left in the back of the bed, and Sherrilyn saw them, and used them. Wonder what the Jamisons had painted with them earlier that they owned? The cans were likely left over from something else they painted.

Also in one pic I can't make out what the writing is. It looks like SUS .....in the pic of the truck facing away, where the side panel is shown.

I am not sure how to describe it....But I will try.
You know how when you are taking a picture of somthing, if you get down lower than the object and shoot the picture at an upward angle it makes things look bigger? Well the picture is being taken looking up hill. And the shadows from the doors of the truck kinda make it hard to see. I will try to get better ones tomorrow.

I labled them the best I can for the moment. I will have to try to take the photo from up on top of the bluff and some how label from there where each shot was taken. If you were looking down from the bluff, you can't see where the truck was parked, but you can see the tracks where we entered on the far R side of the picture. It is a sloped driveway for lack of a better word, and the incline hides where the truck was parked. The other pictures were taken on the flat area looking out over the edge. I hope that kinda helps.

It says "jesus" you can see it on the full shot of the truck, the metal is just bent too much on the close up. THer was some other Sherilyn paintings back at the house on a storage conainer they had, but it was all in black and red, atleast from the shots I have.

Now I think I understand what those berms are. They were once part of the eroding hillside when the ground gave way under them most likely during a heavy rainstorm, and they slipped, water moving them to come to rest perpendicular to the hillside.

The photo facing north up the slope makes me think the slope is kind of naturally terraced, and it's not just a straight shot up from the bottom to the top. Is that correct?

When you were up there did anyone actually walk up that slope or would that be next to impossible given the errosion?

Going back to why dogs haven't found anything, does anyone know if the Jamisons bodies, assuming they're deceased which I think we'd all agree at this point is likely, could have been limed or placed in acid. then the bones buried? I'm wondering if either acid or lime would eliminate odor so the dogs wouldn't be able to smell them?

Does anyone connected to the Jamisons know if Bobby Sr. or his brothers was ever known to hire a hit man for anything prior to when the Jamisons went missing?

I keep getting the idea that someone put something on their vehicles, a transponder that relayed back to someone's computer where the Jamison's vehicles were at all times, and that they were followed up the mountain whether anyone saw or heard another vehicle or not. If this was a hit job, this makes the most sense to me. How else would someone they didn't want to know their business know their business?

Have their cell phone pings been checked?

Who talked with the hunters that came in contact with the Jamisons? Did anyone make note of what game they said they were hunting?

I'm going to call the Oklahoma Wildlife Dept. tomorrow to find out exactly what their restrictions are as some of the small game seasons overlap large game seasons, and it is important to know if these hunters were hunting with legal means on the date they came in contact with the Jamisons. I know we've hashed through this before, but I'm doing it again. If these guys were hunting for game that was out of season, what other illegal activities might they have been up to?

mtrooper, I went back and looked at the photo of the Jamison's truck, and it appears the photographer was standing in the roadway in front of the truck, so I'm not getting that the picture was shot from the looking upwards angle you're suggesting.

Can you give us some idea of the height of the slope we're looking at? It's hard to tell from just looking at a photo. My guess is anywhere between 30-50 ft.

I'm taking back what I said about the berms falling from the slope, maybe. It doesn't appear that there's the same amount of erosion going on beside where the truck was sitting due to heavier vegetation in that spot. It's so hard to tell from the photo. I wish we had a straight on shot of the slope and the berm like structures at the exact spot where the truck was sitting.

on the hood of the truck, she wrote - "love lives!" on the tail end, "god rules" on the passenger side, "jesus christ will save you!" and "peace" on the drivers side, "love & peace."
sherilyn had a twisted sense of humor, one of the reasons we got along. She had painted messages to her neighbors on her huge shipping container that was at the edge of her front yard. I imagine the cans were left over from that. She used to tell me that if i wanted someone to leave me alone to make em think i was crazy. She did just that by writing on her container, "witches dont like it when u kill thier black cats." and "only god can judge." "gossip is a sin, we know who u r, god bless." those were on one end and the front side. Next time im up there, im gonna check out the other sides. I know everyone thinks she had lost her mind, but when i saw what she did, i got the best healing laugh out of it. I guess u just had to know her. And im glad i did.

Haha, Little, I sat here last night studying each of those piles. The earth there is striated, and unfortunately they each matched up with those striations or fortunately which means you don't have to go smash them.

Depends on a whole lot of variables.

BBM: Acids, limes, concrete, pesticides, herbicides, flamables, similar chemicals to such etc all can potentially interfere with scent if the dogs used are not very well trained in discernment- and even sometimes then.

2nd BBM: do we have the cell phone 'paths' via data storage from tower logs on the Jamisons phones? We could recreate their movement from that.
