OSBI needs public’s help to find 19-year-old man missing since Sunday

According to the OSBI, agents were requested by the Oklahoma state park rangers to help find Julian “JJ” Olley from Lewisville, Texas. He was seen early Sunday morning at the Catfish Cove entrance to Lake Texoma off Highway 70.

Olley is described as a white man with green eyes and blonde hair. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Agents said he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with the word “cookies” on the front (as pictured) and black basketball shorts.

Olley has several tattoos including roses and a clock on each shoulder, a cartoon figure on his left pec, and a tiger and roman numerals on his left arm, according to the OSBI.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police and local fire and emergency management departments have also been looking for Olley, agents said.

Anyone who has seen Olley or knows anything about his whereabouts is urged to to contact the OSBI at 800-522-8017 or [email protected].

Search underway at Lake Texoma for missing man

They say he was partying with friends for Memorial Day weekend near the campground at Lake Texoma State Park. He went missing around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. He is described as 5'8", 140 lbs. with green eyes and red hair.

Officials pinged his cellphone around Highway 70 about a half mile away.

I'm his step dad and I'm still looking from time to time to see if there are any updates. His mother died four years ago and he was mostly grown when we wed so I wasn't close to him but the whole thing bothers me. From what I heard it wasn't a simple thing accident. It may have been but from a rumour of someone in his circle it may not have been. How can answers be found? The only articles I've seen list short simple facts. I'm not sure if information is not released or of respect for family or if because other parties may be under investigation. I'm just bothered that everyone was talking about it then all of the sudden they seem to have forgotten. It would have destroyed my wife to see her oldest die so young. Why did everyone give up and forget.

Have there been any updates on your stepson's death? Any other case information about the circumstances surrounding his cause and manner of death?

As a mom I deeply thank you for honoring your wife's memory and the love of her son.
