The age range in this case has been narrowed to 35-45 (originally 55) with a PMI of 2-12 years, so the recon should be taken with a grain of salt - no hair was found with the remains.

While found in Oklahoma the location is not far from the borders of Missouri and Kansas and just a little further distant to Arkansas. The town of Miami is on R44 which runs down into Oklahoma (SW) and up into Missouri and beyond (NE).

Circumstances of Recovery
Collected from a river bed in New Mexico.

How odd that it's under Oklahoma, then.

Only one ruleout - Kimberly Mullins MP7808 last seen in OK in 1998.

Could this be Amada Abundez who went missing from CA in 2010? The remains were skeletal with no hair, so her tattoos would not have been visible. No indication of DNA.

She's hispanic, the right age and fits into the estimated PMI of 2003-2013. On the downside a long way from where she went missing but there is little information on the circumstances of how she went missing. I note the most direct route from San Juan Capistrano (where Amada was last seen) to Miami OK (UID found) includes traversing part-way along a major trucking route the i40.
