Trying to make sense of that hand tattoo. I'm sure it's a word, but it's just so blurry. For once, it's not the photographer, it seems the ink itself is really crudely done, no sharpness to it. I'm guessing it's amateur.

Agreed. Def "scratchers" aka amateur stick 'n pokes. He must not have a record.

edit just to add - lots of scratchers get thicker with age because you literally blow out the area that the ink is deposited into. i have a lot of janky home tattoos that have the same effect due to inexperience.

The PD’s post says “There doesn’t appear to be any foul play involved in the man’s death” and “It’s believed he was in the house because he was experiencing homelessness”.
I think the name won’t be officially released since foul play is not suspected.

Unintentional starvation would be classified as accidental, as would dehydration, hypothermia (if the house was vacant the heat might not have been on), and overdose.
