The link is working fine ... I still had to use the reset button a good bit but the OK court records system admins should be able to adjust that feature. The new system may have had a higher volume of users than expected. I was on there for a good while sleuthing ... :websleuther:

As the court record indicates, suspect Braden is now represented by an attorney. The record does not indicate if it was a court-appointed attorney. Maybe OK court records don't show that.

Hm. What am I doing wrong? His name is actually Tommy Braden, not Brady, but when I enter either name - the correct name Braden or your Brady, I get no records found.

I must be doing something wrong, although I've tried it several times.

Jeanna, thanks again. Correct name is Braden! I have edited my post to reflect correct name.

O.K., if you are using the link I provided on the post of mine that you responded to, it should be the correct link. Try going out of the link completely and then click on it again. You don't have to enter any information except his name. (braden, tommy) If it still doesn't work, hit the reset button at bottom of the screen. Then, you should get a fresh screen in which to enter his name.

I am going now to check the link again and will get back to you right away.

So it sounds like he will be charged on Tuesday. And once they charge him with Child Abuse, they can detain him and figure out other charges, IMO. Including murdering the dog, I hope...

Jeanna, the link is working ... I tried it twice. The first time, I hit the reset button before I entered his name and the record with all cases with that name appeared, then you click on the case record that you want to view and it should appear as a separate record. I save those to My Favorites, mostly for my personal records ... or to be posted later.

The next time, it worked for me by just entering his name.

Sometimes, when I am having problems getting into sites, I have to clean out my computer cache (sp?).

Let me know if you need my help.

Braden is scheduled to be arraigned today, as far as I know.

It sounds like the news media has decided not to cover this story at all - maybe out of privacy concerns for the child.

And I don't blame them. It sounds like this story will continue, out of public view.

I'm guessing it's probably out of privacy concerns too. Given how very young the victim is in this case, I think they're trying to give the family a bit more breathing room than they usually do.

Sad thing too is that I recognized all of those cases except for 2.

This is just so heartbreaking. I am so relieved that she is alive and will be allowed to grow up, unlike many other tragic stories we hear. But the emotional trauma is likely to linger. It just sickens me that people like this "man" even exist. In my Abnormal Psych class we covered pedophilia in the sexual disorders chapter. Treatment and rehabilitation are rarely successful for these types of people and many of them, if they are released from prison continue to offend. Sad but true.. I wish there were a deserted island we could ship them all to..
