Here is the link to the latest story, at the end they mention that her pistol that she carried everywhere was also missing. Most women I know who carry don't make it known, but you know who would have known? The man living in her house. I also find it odd that accusations of him having "connections" due to his last name and the county name are still flying but no one seems to know what the deal is...if he were that well off, would he have been living in her house while they were no longer together? His family may have pull, but he sounds like a bum. They said there were stains on the inside of a a tractor bucket, perfectly large enough to hold a body, I wonder if anyone in the community recalls seeing a tractor out and about, though I know its a common occurrence for the area. That and her 80 acres is plenty big enough for someone to have used the tractor and not been seen I suppose. There are tons of wells in Oklahoma, lots of abandoned ones as well. The tank batteries and salt water barrels are huge, I hope investigators have considered this and checked them out. I think the ex was in that line of work from the looks of his linked in page (I think this is his page below), he would certainly know his way around a well site. Just brainstorming, anything that might help needs to be put out there.

Your article mentions their children.

Is that a typo?

Does Peggy have more than one child? Did he have another child?

IMOO.

I caught that too & wondered if there was more than just the one son. Hmmm

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.

IMOO.

It does say Children! And their Father!

OSBI combed through McGuire’s home, where her children and their father still live, as well as 80 acres surrounding the residence. Records show investigators took swabs of blood-like stains on the couch and back porch

If school let out at 2pm, her killer had just about 5 hours to do the deed and hide her.

I haven't thought about this, but it makes sense. She talked to someone on the phone after she dropped her son off from school. Anyone know what time she had the conversation on the phone?

Regardless, is 5 hours enough to do the deed and hide her? That doesn't seem like a whole lot of time.

What could investigators want with Facebook records? TM doesn't have FB so what data could they really be tracking here?

I'm thinking there is a third person involved in some way shape or form. Perhaps someone she was dating. Just a guess.

She could have confided to her friends about her relationship with her son's father.

She could have confided to her friends about what was going on in her life.

IMOO.

Post #49 from 11-24-2015 Page 4 of the thread mentions 10am conversation on the phone.

ETA:

"The last person to reportedly speak with Peggy was her stepfather, whom she phoned that morning on her way to the home she shares with her son and the boy's father. She was going to call him back shortly with the measurements for a new deck, her mother said."

So, it sounds like she was driving or she was a passenger in the vehicle when she talked to her stepfather on the phone, as there was an initial report that someone was in the vehicle with Peggy. IMOO.

"Peggy McGuire, of Eufaula, was last seen dropping her child off a school. Surveillance video shows her leaving with someone else in the car."

Yeah, this is very weird. I wonder why the story changed later, especially since surveillance video showed her leaving with someone else. Surveillance video should be a good indication of a fact.

If it was someone else, could it have been someone other than TM? It is hard to paint a different picture given the abuse history, but I suppose it is possible. I just don't know who that would be.

Couldn't the child say who was with them in that car?

Yeah, I think so. I'm guessing that the police already know this information, but are keeping it confidential right now.

I just saw a comment on the FB page that mentions an outbuilding on Peggy's property that has a new concrete slab poured. The community page member was asking if anyone could verify when that was done and if it was done after she went missing. Surely this has been looked into but that was the first time I had even heard anyone mention it.

Again, technically it isn't Peggy's property, but a concrete pour would be a big tip off if done right after she went missing. I know they search the property and looked for signs of shallow graves, but I don't know about concrete slabs. I'm not sure how they would go about searching that. Whether dogs can detect a body through concrete or not.

The articles keep saying "her home in Stidham" and that he "lived with her" I guess I could be assuming but that is how I took it.

  • #358
Was she renting or was it his property? I assumed based on the way they had been wording it on the FB page it was hers...

He may have had a place in mind to hide her. It isn't the first time he wanted her dead, so maybe. Or he may have hidden her on the way to drop off her truck at the bar.
