IF they did mitochondrial DNA testing on MIchael ( this is passed down from mother) then yes this would work to match to potential Id's for Sharon if compared to mitocondrial DNA of the mothers of the missing children who are potential matches. So yes, we should find out if this was done and if the DNA profile is still available. I can't believe that NCMEC has not done this allready.

Mitochondial DNA testing is expensive and time consuming so it is not usually used for establishing paternity. Usually for paternity they will use cheek swabs or occasionally blood tests.

Do we know what school system in OK that Floyd was employed at in 1974 and when it was that he left that job like the date? I see timelines for the years but I don't see the name of the school or the date m/d/ that he left? I really think that we should nail him down to time slots and see if we can track his movments that way, not that it probebly has not already been done but maybe we should try again and compair that with David Dials where abouts at that time along with anybody that knew Floyd his family included. I don't think that we should leave anything untouched sometimes if you retrace steps you tend to find out a little more. What do you all think?

I am in the midst of reading "A Beautiful Child" right now...here's a little tidbit:

Floyd used the name Trenton B. Davis while living in Oklahoma City from 1975 to 1978. He worked as a maintenance man for the Oklahoma City School District.

As I was looking through the pics that were published in the insert of "A Beautiful Child", something occurred to me. In the pic whose caption reads "Sharon and her son Michael, circa 1989", I think Michael bears quite a resemblance to Lori Peugeot. Compare to this picture of Lori:

I read the book as well but I am wondering if he worked at the administration building or if he worked at one of the schools? And I am wondering also if Floyd's previous address was fake, I don't know what their application process was back then but it would occur to me that he would have had to have given a previous employer as well. would'nt it look odd for a guy of what 32 years old not to at least give a reference of some sort and if those references were checked? I thought I read somewhere that he gave a fake previous address also.

Okay Floyd worked in Late February of 1973 at Avis car rental under the alias Danial Pittman and he was living with David Dial. can we find out when he stopped working at the Avis car rental or is late february the time period that he did stop working there as you can tell I am unclear on this. Also we know that you have to have a SS# in order to work you have to pay taxes, Uncle Sam makes sure of that, I am wondering how long Floyd used this Danial Pittman alias and the SS# I am assuming was a fake, but even if it was a fake it still would have been recorded right? then if he owed any taxes for failing to file then some how there should be a record of unpaid taxes or am I wrong?
