FYI - on the attached thread, someone believes Stephen is a potential victim of John Wayne Gacy and I believe they are submitting him as a match.

I agree. Definitely worth a comparison. Has anyone sent this to the CCSO? Or has the MP side contacted CCSO? I don't recall reading about any CCSO rule outs for Canadian MP's If fact, there are a couple of other runaway type missing persons cases in Canada that I think would be worth looking...

I believe a run in with the scorecard killer Randy Kraft is far more likely. He was active in the area and targeted Marines from Pendleton. Many of his victims are still not found and/identified.

i have had such determination in the past....to find a best friend, and to find death as my answer...but a reunion with her parents and brother was found. And that has been one of the most important pieces of my long life.

The irony in my search was that we were best friends in Ohio, she had moved to Washington DC, her parents, unbeknownsted to me, had moved to California (But I found them after a year long search)....

and the irony was that she was buried less than 10 miles from where I was living in upstate NY.

The search has been worth it, I found his siblings and I learned alot about one of his sisters. I just want to be able to lay him to rest

@Snoangel26 it is a sad end if your father is indeed deceased. I admire your tenacity and I appreciate you taking us along your journey to finding him. With the little info from the detective who is in charge of the case stating that there has been no activity on his social security number, I have to admit my hopes are crushed for you. Finding his remains and properly laying him to rest is comforting to think about for your healing.

There has been no activity on his SSN. The detective said he ran his pictures thru facial recognition but hasn't heard back about. I'm guessing there hasn't been a hit. DNA reference sample is still being processed. Haven't been able to find anything else out. As of right now he is the champion of hide n seek. I really appreciate everyone's suggestions and hard work. The search continues on.

In light of that, perhaps having him declared deceased so that other records become more accessible might be reasonable with less risk of it cutting him off from something important.

I’m not sure if this is allowed as I know Reddit is not an approved source of information for news but there is a group/community there called RBI and they have a lot of great sleuths there as well. I wonder if you shared your story there as well it could get even more people helping you search for him?

I’ve read through this entire thread and your tenacity and patience are inspiring! I fully support your decision to declare him deceased to hopefully get more answers and possible justice for him if something happened to him. He deserves to not be forgotten and you deserve answers! all IMO. This thread has done great work !

Thank you. I will check into it. I think I'm going to wait til after the holidays to declare him deceased. Hopefully by then my FNA reference sample will be completed.
