Reading the autopsy reports for both Veronica & Jillian are shocking.

The perps are lower than animals. It's like blood lust was fun for them, imo.

I am crying on behalf of these two victims.

Haven't finished reading it, but what made me catch my breath is the rope around her waist. Am I reading that correctly? My heart hurts for her :'(

There were multiple mentions by MSM of a broken hammer handle found near a patch of dirt saturated with blood, at the attack site, IIRC. My own speculation would be that item is associated with the wound to the back of VB's head. There were eyeglasses found near the site as well and in photos of both women, only VB ever appears wearing glasses. There was also a pistol clip found in JK's purse IIRC and I don't recall that the pistol was ever reported found.

While the autopsy reports certainly describe the consequence of the attack, there is a considerable extent of the actual circumstances that have yet to be detailed. I anticipate these will be described at trial and will be even more demonstrative of the despicable and abhorrent cabal that was God's Misfits. Hopefully there are no members of that group still at large.

I am wondering about a couple of details. VB's report indicates her sports bra and shirt were pulled up under her armpits exposing her chest and her shorts were unbuttoned and unzipped. What?? The rest of the autopsy does not indicate SA, but I find these details odd. JK's report does not state anything similar.

In the medical report conducted by the Chief Medical Examiner in Oklahoma City, Veronica Butler suffered 30 sharp force injuries, including nine stab wounds. The report says 10 incised wounds

"Given the extent of Ms. Butler’s injuries, including defects to both of her internal jugular veins with resultant exsanguination, it is my opinion that her death was very quick and likely occurred before she was placed inside the freezer and buried," the reports says. "This opinion is additionally supported by the fact that her body appeared to have remained exactly how it was placed inside the freezer."

The full autopsy report was released on Veronica Butler, whose body was found in the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The report lists a total of 30 wounds, with 9 being stab wounds and 21 being cuts.

Ten of the wounds were consistent with Butler trying to defend herself, including her grabbing the knife blade with her right hand, according to the report.

One thing that is different in this report is that a lasso-style rope was found loosely wrapped around Butler’s waist. The presence of the rope is not explained in the report.

Take note the victim was found positioned face down in the freezer where the description included her soiled t-shirt described pulled up under her armpits, exposing her torso.

The next description (i.e., exposed chest, tied rope at her waist, etc.), was after removing VB from the freezer (locating JK beneath VB's body). Two weeks of decomp bloat may also explain why her shorts were unbuttoned/unzipped.

Regardless, the killers had zero respect for VB's life-- let alone concern for her dignity. JMO

Per the Autopsy Reports: JK was 70" tall and weighed 173 lbs. VB was 65" tall and weighed 253. They were found in a freezer only 54" long, which I believe to be outside measurement because the width was 27". If the 27" were inside measure, the freezer would not go through an ordinary interior doorway....VB was found with a piece of rope loosely wrapped around her, near her waist. LE confiscated a trailer, presumably to find evidence; and they knew where the trailer was.
Those facts make me think that they rigged the bodies to move them from the trailer to the freezer, then lifted the freezer into the hole. This probably done with the skid-steer...using multiple straps and ropes and presumably driving the skid-steer up and down the trailer ramp and into the hole might explain the clothing being dislodged as indicated in VB's report.

There was definitely some rigging going on there was an 8" thick concrete slab on top of the freezer in the hole...that slab weighed near 4000 pounds. Obviously they did not man handle it to location.

• Paul Grice and Cora Twombly were endorsed as witnesses for the prosecution.
• They will be called to testify at the preliminary hearing next month for Tifany, Tad, and Cole on Dec 17.
• All five still face first-degree murder charges.
• The DA declined to comment on the case because of a gag order. He did say the prelim could last 3 days.
• Grice and Cora have waived their preliminary hearings.
• Grice's atty would not say whether a plea agreement is already in place, but confirmed that Grice will testify at the preliminary hearing.
• The OSBI said in a court affidavit Grice confessed to his involvement in the killings and the burial.

I don't mind if they are spared the death penalty and instead get to spend every day of their lives behind bars with plenty of time to think about how horrible they truly are and that they deserve whatever hell awaits them. They showed no mercy for their victims, they have no right to expect it for themselves.

I have wondered if the concrete on top of the freezer might have been an attempt to thwart a metal detector from discovering the freezer. Would concrete prevent a metal detector from penetration of what is below the concrete?

The only one I think that might not be completely true for is Cora. She could already have been living in fear of her husband, and we have speculated that he was in the plot for the money as (if I am remembering correctly) he paid off two mortgages soon after the killings.

This is even more horrific than I had imagined. She fought like h*ll for her life. The sheer overkill, and why was she partially disrobed?? what on earth did they do to this dying or dead woman?

Just awful. I hope every last one of them rots in jail for the rest of their lives and then under it for the remainder of eternity.

ETA after reading some of the above posts about the clothing it is MOO bloat is not responsible. I won't get graphic but I have reasons to disbelieve bloat would do that.

I read Jillian's report when it was released and noted at the time it stated she was likely deceased when buried. Veronica's report says something similar but goes further to state that she didn't move after being placed in the freezer. But that specificity was not noted in Jillian's report, iirc. The discrepancy in the reports haunts me a little bit. MOO.
