I didn't follow the whole thread and just read the postings about the show itself. The nanny dyes Jamie's hair black. They said something like that about Caylee. Cutting and/or dying her hair. Making her look like a little boy.

in light of CA and GA's depositions, I think it is important to point out that the nanny in one tree hill matches the description of Casey's Zanny exactly in these ways:

25 years old
height 5' 7"
curly brown hair that has been straightened
brown eyes
straight white teeth
nanny is a "ten" (when exactly did Casey say this - her whole family quotes this fact)

matches closely:
weight 140 (hard to determine, really. some people have a hard time guessing other people's weight)
hispanic or, as Casey has said "mixed race"

Also - - interesting that the nanny gets choked in the end. IMO Casey likes this episode because someone else gets choked not Casey. Allegedly, Cindy choked Casey. I think Casey fantasized about making someone else the victim of a choking.

well....LE said that the skull had very light long colored hair.....could it be because kc dyed caylee's hair before she killed her.....? oh my.....this has always bugged me that her hair was light when found......

I brought up the same thing last night to the BF, and he looked at me like I was crazily grasping for straws. I am not sure if the hair may have lightened from being outside and/or due to decomp (since I am no expert, I would love anyone with this knowledge to chime in), but it sure does make you think...

The actress who played "Carrie" the nanny is Torrey Devitto - daughter of Liberty Devitto who was Billy Joel's drummer. Liberty is Italian American.

I was looking around for info on the One Tree Hill episode and found a picture of the actress that played the nanny. When I saw her the first thing I thought was that she looked like a prettier version of KC.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, don't have time to read through the thread right now. We know that Casey searched for "One Tree Hill Hundred" in between searches for "household weapons." etc. Those of you who have been sleuthing this also know that this episode involves a nanny who kidnaps a young child.

There is a further proof that Casey may have used the One Tree Hill episode as her template for Zanny.
In this episode,Nanny Carrie kidnaps Jamie and attempts to dye his hair black to disguise the child.
From Casey's police interview--emphasis mine: "Caylee has very distinctive features EVEN IF HER HAIR WAS CUT OR CHANGED."

The only way to change hair, other than to cut it, is to dye it. Yet Casey avoids using the word.
Mention of Caylee's hair being changed in this way indicates that the One Tree Hill episode was likely the nanny template. Too much of a coincidence, JMO.

Casey appears more and more like the "keystone kop" of murderers:
"Caylee has very distinctive features EVEN IF HER HAIR WAS CUT OR CHANGED."

Also, I found it interesting that, between 1:16 and 1:18, the detectives ask her about her comment that KC would have had to have help because she's not that smart. They inquire as to who she thinks might have helped KC, and AD says TL, because he is new to her and she doesn't know him, and then she names JG. Funny how everyone wants to throw him under the bus! I am wondering if during AD's overnight stay the idea of JG being involved may have been brought up by CA or KC? Then, LE asks AD if she thinks LA could have helped KC, and there is silence. You can tell by the background sounds that she is struggling with how to answer this. Why? If she had NO thought that LA could have been involved, it seems that her answer would have come quickly. "Oh, no! He wouldn't ever be involved!" But, she hesitates and fumbles around for the words. I found this exchange very interesting. IMO, AD is hiding something. She either knows something, or suspects something. I hope that LE extracted the info from her in another interview. And I hope we get to see it soon!

What I think is also very interesting is that KC looks VERY similar to the actress that plays the MOTHER of the Jamie the kidnapped kid. And, there is a photo of KC (leaning up against TL at fusion) wearing an almost identical black dress, and her hair styled nearly exactly the same, as the MOTHER in the One Tree Hill Clip where it is discovered that the child is kidnapped!

Coincidence? I think not.

Same thing with "lost numbers."

Does she mean the significant numbers from Lost? 4 8 15 16 23 42?

Or is she researching plausible excuses for losing someone's number, as came into play early in the investigation?

She's a little late in the game to be researching the numbers in the show, but maybe she was just catching up.

I'd like to jump on the One Tree Hill train, but unless names matched, or whatever, I just can't find a link that would be the clincher. Good idea about looking at the family DVR.

I've wondered about the "lost numbers" search too. "Lost" the TV show...would have never thought of that. I don't watch the show. I believe the numbers are winning lottery numbers? Yes? Do these numbers contain a pattern or code? Meaning, could one figure out what number might come after 42? 55 perhaps. Just curious...
