Hmmm, perhaps then LE does indeed have the phone then? Even if not, it seems case is moving forward!
I don't think they have the phone, if they did have it then they could obtain the old carrier info directly from the phone.

Sheriff Garrett came out to make sure all the search crews know how much we appreciate their dedication and long hours over the holiday season

KGW by far gives the best up to date coverage in the Portland Area on missing persons hands down! Thank You KGW!
With their latest report they stated anyone who had a doorbell ring around the time of her missing to please call LE. This was because there was a doorbell ring but the resident did not answer.
So If I were the detective in charge, which I am not and am sure they are doing all of this but, I would be rounding up a list of the sex offenders in the area, known drug houses, transient homeless camps, etc.
I would be knocking on neighbors doors of the unknown doorbell ring.
Asking those neighbors to allow hounds to check their properties, outbuildings, and any abandoned Rv's Conex, sheds etc.
I've been reluctant to think the worst in this case but I did want to mention in the mugshot of the boyfriend, he has what looks like some small scratches on his nose and some fresh bruising under his right eye. It looks darker in the latest video by KGW. He was also soaking wet when the home owner found him but we did have some rain that night.
It may not mean anything so let's not jump to any conclusions. The stolen vehicle could be the reason the boyfriend did not contact LE about her missing. There is a side to me that thinks maybe she is hiding because of that stolen vehicle. She maybe fearful of her own arrest.
Just some thoughts. Thanks

Thank you for the info. Can you tell us what the local sentiment is like about this case? Are most people aware that she is missing?
Ppl here are angry with the wrong facts given out in the beginning. Allyson has been in our news every day. I'm handing out flyers at the Blazers game tonight (NBA basket ball game) in Portland. She can be anywhere...

In re to giving strangers a ride home. Welcome to Oregon and the friendly ppl that live here. Old timers and many others would give rides to ppl, especially in the North Plains area.

They now probably consider the search area a potential crime scene and don't want it contaminated.

Correct. But she can be anywhere. Off to Costco again to get more food donations for LE seachers

I don't know if there's cattle in the area but if there is this would be a prime area for collecting magic mushrooms.

I have been getting a lot of msgs re Allyson. I dont know her, but her mom was my server many times at Reedville Cafe. Allyson is a daughter and I would love to have ppl actively search for my teen girl if she ever went missing . Doesn't matter if Allyson had a difficult life, she is someone's daughter that needs to be brought home to her mom!!

Well if that's the case then I would search the nearest body of water with consideration to the fact they found the boyfriend soaking wet. However, trained searchers are exactly that. Trained. Too many un trained people actually hurt a search. They get ahead of dogs. Trample the scent. Give false info, and get hurt thus becoming a liability. You are right about the contamination but still have hope this is not the worst.

I can't believe that anyone would feel any different than you do.

Unfortunately some ppl have questioned the life she was leading. I'm not going to judge....

I believe another issue may be that the culprit could be one of the searchers. This would negate any potential DNA recovered from the crime scene.

I think it's too cold for fungus to grow in cow patties. I was thinking more like the boyfriend was planning to steal something out there. ATV or fuel. Did the truck break down or run out of gas?

Amen! She is missing and needs to be found, that’s all that matters in the end.

Her lifestyle may be important in terms of where she could be and what could have happened, but that shouldn’t change the importance of finding her or her ‘worthiness’.

She was 20 years old, an obvious free spirit searching for answers, geez, give her a break, this is not the time for self righteous judgement.

It's possible and does happen but If there's a number one suspect here, he's sitting in jail.

I THINK I’m leaning towards misadventure at this point, possibly a head injury or something that contributed....although if that is the case I’m surprised that she hasn’t been found yet.

Depending on how cold it’s been I imagine SAR is looking for places she could have tried to burrow if she became hypothermic. Or signs of paradoxical undressing.
