The police did a small search, a few dogs were out already, and they will likely have a different set out today / Monday. Start canvassing the area homes / locals to determine when the car got there and grid search on Tuesday. It has been a couple of months since she went missing so picking up a scent seems remote.

According to the people running the HFFF site, so far the police only searched a small area with 6 people and one cadaver dog. If the family wishes to pay for the use of scent dogs, they are free to do so.

I honestly don't know if this is the kind of case they take on, but I believe the family has to reach out to them.

I read today on the HFFF site that Texas EquuSearch were contacted a month ago, but currently they don't have enough funds due to their participation in the Forth Hood cases.

10:08am Fauna stops at Creswell 76 Station $20 purchase

11:40am Fauna picks up chicken strips for **** dog. We believe she stopped at the Wolf Creek Store and bought them there.

11:45am Fauna stops at **** house in Wolf Creek. Spends 30 minutes with ****. **** provided Fauna an address via DEX to Onion Mountain Rd.

??? Picks up hitchhiker NOT SURE WHAT TIME took her to Fish Hatchery Rd (takes 31 min to get to gas station in Cave Junction)

7:04pm Cave Junction Chevron $25 Purchase

7:45pm checked into Super 8 hotel

8:00pm approx. called her dad John at home

According to the HFFF admins, a video exists of her going into her vehicle alone after the cash withdrawal.

It only takes 20 minutes to get from Dexter to that 76 Station in Creswell. Why is there such a gap in time there?

Fauna's Jeep was found off the beaten path, on a dead end road off a side road.

I'm curious why she withdrew money in Rogue River, which is south of Grants Pass and the Weasku Inn when there were places to do so between Gooseberries and the Weasku Inn?

It looks like rates starts at $188 per night. Did she arrive there and then realize she didn't have enough to pay in cash for her room? From looking at the Weasku's website, even if she arrived early, it appears she would have things she could do around the lodge prior to check in, IMO.

She made a phone reservation at Weasku Inn in the afternoon, though it's not known whose phone she used (phone records weren't subpoenaed). The inn charged her credit card for one night, because she never cancelled.

According to the early timeline she was planning on taking some things to the local dump. It was reported that she spent the first night in her car, though it's not known where. If the dump was closed the first day, it could have been somewhere near. It is strange that she didn't return home (IMO).

Apparently those things are not going to be done by the SO due to lack of resources and also lack of evidence of foul play.

Josephine County has been underfunded by taxpayers for years to a scary degree as the linked article describes. It’s coming back a little, but it has a long way to go. So I can see why the SO isn’t able to even process the scene. I hope OSP will be able to help.

Apparently it's possible that she had her brother's phone with her. She left her own at home.

OSP were involved before her Jeep was found.
