Found Deceased OR - Jessie Valle, 77, went mushroom picking near Myrtle Point, Coos Co, 7 Nov 2021

On 11-07-2021 a 77 year old man, identified as Jessie Valle, went mushroom picking off of the Weaver Ridge Road area outside of Myrtle Point with some friends. Valle reportedly walked off on his own to check an area for mushrooms, but did not return. His friends searched for Valle for hours before contacting authorities for assistance.

Currently the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue assets from both agencies are actively searching for the missing man.

Valle was last seen wearing a black ball cap, a black coat, and blue jeans. Because of his age and the current weather conditions, authorities are very concerned for Valle’s wellbeing.

Less than 500 meters from the place last seen? That makes no sense that he "succumbed to the elements." I'm thinking heart attack more likely. MOO.
