The ones listed on 11/19/2024 are the ones that pertain to JJ's case IMO. They searched cell phone records associated with a specific phone number, her Porsche, and her residence

Betting the tire tread will match that of the muddy tire tracks found very near to where his body was dumped.
Am I the only one that can't get it to work? I've tried multiple times, on 2 different browsers, I have the name spelled correctly and in the correct order, and even the case number doesn't work! Dang thing!

And for the record in case it's not obvious... I'm not a robot. lol

Since you're likely not the only one that can't access the article... I'll type up some key points for you so I don't exceed the 10% MSM copy and paste rule.
  • Found naked and partially under some brush.
  • He had no scratches (from bushes) or mud on him, including no mud on the bottom of his feet which he would have had had he not been carried to where he was placed.
  • The affidavit says his phone was nearby, although I don't see why his killer bothered as it was evident that no mud on the bottom of the feet means he had to be carried there! I mean,c'mon.... the poor kid didn't float there.
  • Both phone and body were found near the street, which makes me more confident that the maps I posted upthread were were he was found. That post is HERE.
  • There was also a fresh tire track in the mud. I'm thinking that that is what prompted a searcher to poke around in that general vicinity.
  • A search warrant seized her Porsche and Joshie's phone. The former was to do forensics on the mud on her tires.
  • Apparently AG was neglecting Joshie, which is why her then roommate in Utah asked her to leave because of said neglect AND mistreatment. :( That's when they returned to the home in Hauser, which makes me wonder why in the world they weren't living there in the first place? Especially when your mistreatment and neglect wouldn't be obvious if no one is there but you and the child. I find it odd that she'd treat Joshie that way in front of someone. That one is hard to wrap my head around.
  • There was a "pick up order" after a several month investigation into AG's (alleged) alcohol use and mistreatment and neglect of Joshie. Apparently Utah DHS was investigating her also.
  • Lastly, there have been no formal charges and the investigation is still ongoing.
With all that said... does anyone have a link to a copy of the arrest affidavit and search warrant? I'd be interested in reading those.

So why wasn’t the pick up order acted upon? Sounds like somebody’s head should roll for this devastating consequence JMO

I would think they would know that if it were the case. I do suspect she was hospitalized immediately after JJ was reported missing tho, for at least some length of time. I am confounded by them not knowing her current whereabouts tho.

It seems as if LE was hip to the fact all was not as it seemed from the very beginning. Hence some of their very first wording was "off" in this case. JMO. So why would they not have been keeping closer tabs on her?
Bbm.
Agreed.
And also echoing the earlier posts about this was something many of us had feared.

Hoping AG didn't harm herself.
I want her to answer as to what exactly happened, and to face the other members of the family who would have probably taken Joshua in if necessary !

So sorry, little Joshie.
You deserved better.
Fly with the angels, sweetie.
Omo.

It does make one wonder why she didn't simply turn him over to his father since his father appears to have doted on him. Not to mention that it seemed like perhaps his autism was too much for her to take (JMO!) since today's news has mentioned by AG's old roommate that AG was neglectful, mistreated Joshie, and also her alleged alcohol use.

It just feels to me like there's more to the story here. Isn't that normally the case?

She may have thought he wouldn't be safe or well taken care of with his father, especially if she had planned to kill herself. Nothing specific points to that here, but it is sometimes a factor when mothers kill their children--they think they're helping them. Though murderers who love their victims typically don't leave them naked in the woods.

I'm a bit confused by the locations of everyone in the family over the past few years... all three moved to OR and lived in the house together for Angela's work. Then a year, year and a half ago, Angela and Amos split and Amos moves back to OH. Then at some point Angela and Joshie move to UT and live with a friend? What's going on with her job at that point? She drives a porsche so she must not be doing that poorly, and on top of that she retains ownership of the house she and Amos bought, because she and Joshie move back to OR just a few weeks before his death. And all the while social services is investigating, but Amos doesn't particularly seem clued in to that?

It's all quite bizarre. May not be mine to know, but I don't understand Amos just leaving Joshie. Would be insightful to know if he has custody of his other kids.

Yeah, Joshie being naked really surprised me. Why take his clothes off if you've killed him and going to dump him somewhere? Unless he wasn't dead when he was placed there... Perhaps wanting the elements to take him? Or at least quicken things up? Either way that fact makes no sense to me.

Sadly, that's what I was thinking when I read that. MOO.

The boy was naked and partially under some brush, but had no scratches or mud on his body, including the bottoms of his feet, court documents said. The affidavit said that McCoy’s phone was also located near his body, which was found near the roadway with a fresh tire mark visible in the mud. The search warrant sought to search German’s home and seize her Porsche for forensic testing on a mud-caked tire as well as search McCoy’s cell phone, court records said.
I thought I'd post a link to an old post of mine where I guessed where Joshie was likely found for those new to the thread, or anyone that might want to revisit the maps I posted, and/or the link to the map if you wanted to dink around with it.

This looks like some new info. It begs the question... if Joshie would have had scratches or cuts if he had walked there himself, did AG have any on her? Sure, she'd be wearing clothing if she was the one that put him there, but not her hands. Unless she wore gloves. I hope they examined her for cuts and scratches.

Documents say the medical examiner examined Joshua where he was found and said his body had “no signs of trauma, no petechia, and no scratches or cuts that would be consistent with Joshua walking through the briars or blackberry bushes.”

I wondered if he died while naked, perhaps drowned in the bath or something of that nature. It's the only logical thing I can think of that might explain why he was nude.

we now know AG is reported to have alcohol and perhaps drug issues. We know that both OR and UT CPS had been investigating her and OR even had a "pick up" order (meaning secure physical custody of the child). We know that JJ's uncle Josh McCoy made statements that his mother (JJs paternal grandmother) wanted to adopt JJ. My speculation is the paternal side of the family was made aware of the CPS investigation and that the agency had been investigating the option of dad and or paternal grandma as a possible placement for JJ. Heck, they may even have reported her themselves when the couple parted ways.

I can't judge dad for returning to OH. He is a disabled vet who maybe needed his family for support once he and AG split. It's entirely possible he was attempting to legally obtain custody of JJ. It's also entirely possible he was attempting to secure adequate housing etc to assume custody if he won it. We know nothing about what caused the breakup, what Amos did or did not do, whether the child was being withheld from him by AG, nothing.

Documents also say that during that interview she “also made comments about Joshua being naked and dead in the woods.”

German’s friend told detectives German and Joshua used to live with her in Utah, but were asked to leave because of German’s treatment of her son.

“It's a rough situation," the boy's uncle, also named Josh McCoy, said. “It’s not all hit me like it has my brother. My brother is devastated, and my mom, she was devastated too because it was her grandbaby, and she wanted to adopt him."

Court documents indicate Joshua’s mother, Angela German called her friend who lives in Utah and told her that Joshua was missing.

Lee could not confirm or deny that German was being investigated for murder. However the search warrant affidavit says there is probable cause to believe that Angela German is involved in the crimes of Murder II.

That answered at least one of my questions. The friend/former roomie reported JJ missing because she received a phone call from AG saying that JJ was missing. Also despite the lack of arrest and police outright calling her a suspect in the murder, the probable cause statement with the search warrant indicates they believe that to be so.

So.... AG told interviewers that Joshie was in the woods naked and dead?!?!? That's.... unbelievable. What in the world was going through her head? If she said that then she had to have put him there IMO. Otherwise, how would she know? She could also lead them to the body making the searchers jobs easier.

I just can't wrap my head around her admitting that.

maybe waiting on forensics results from car or tox results from autopsy or digital GPS or cell phone records that would put her at the secondary crime scene where his body was located? I am not sure why no arrest yet and why LE claim to not know her current whereabouts.

Hoping to see charges soon.
