Public's help sought for missing mother and child - UPDATE (Photo) - 05/23/19
UPDATE on May 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.

Salem, Ore.— The Salem Police Department has developed a person of interest in the disappearance of Karissa and William Fretwell.

Michael John Wolfe, age 52 of Gaston, Oregon, is sought for questioning by the Salem Police Department and the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.

Wolfe is a white male adult, 6’ 2” tall, and weighs more than 200 pounds. He has thinning brown hair and hazel eyes.

Investigators ask the public for help in locating Wolfe. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Salem Police Department Tips Hotline at 503-588-8477.

Do the local people have any idea where he is?

Ppl are speculating he is close. Gaston where he is from is located near the coast range. Haag Lake is located near there too and that area will be busy with ppl fishing and bbqing this holiday wknd so he wouldn't stand the chance on not being recognized by being close to there but again you never know because that area is huge with trails and many homeless ppl live deep in the forestry area there
