Yes. Or to show solidarity between LE and the family.

Yes.

Or to protect family members from a mentally unstable, ticking time bomb. Until an arrest is made, family members may be in need of protection.

Oh Scorpio!! Please do consult with your father if I might be so bold to request that of you. We would love to hear as many opinions as possible. And we realize that it would be an OPINION not fact, and would consider it as such.

THANK YOU

I don't mind you asking this at all! We actually do discuss a lot of the cases in small talk or throughout the day via texting. He's been in the hospital for a while, he had to have a pacemaker/defrib put in because he had a heart attack while he was still chief and didn't know it. He retired thinking the stress was killing him (because he felt so bad) and then less than a month later landed in the hospital with congestive heart failure. He's been admitted 4 times since January. Bless him and his hard LE work and stress... I will ask him though, going to visit him at the hospital later with the kiddos.

I wish that school was not ending this week. I fear that people will stop talking about who and what they remember that day Kyron went missing. Less pressure on the perp if he or she is a parent, staff member or delivery person and they aren't forced to be at school every day. People will be busy with summer activities. I want the world to stand still for a minute until Kyron is found. I think the dynamics are going to change now and not in our favor.

The information I've learned here at this site is that both parents were waiting for the bus in the afternoon. When Kyron did not get off of the bus, it's my understanding that Terri called the school to ask about him. According to the scanner, both parents went to the school, because the parents were informed (based on scanner info) that one of them needed to go back home, to be at the house.

I have to ask: Why in the world did both parents go to the school, leaving an empty home? One of the parents needed to be there for Kyron, since they didn't know where he was.

My opinions.

There is no confirmation about the dad being there. That is an assumption/rumor based ONLY upon the dad's use of the word "we" when he said something to the effect of 'when we found out he was not on the bus'. He could have been there (it IS at the end of their driveway IIRC) or it could have been only the SM by herself.

Yes, as vicious as some are being toward the SM, there could well be a mentally unstable person go postal on her. I'm glad they're protecting her.

Thank you for this. I was on CNN and they can't pull away from the OK flood situation. [It, too, is a very urgent and important story, but I'm getting nervous watching that girl/woman waiting to be rescued.]

I have been re-reading transcripts of the early pressers. At one point, early LAST week, when Kyron had been gone only a few days, SOMEone from LE supposedly said they expected/hoped to '....wrap this up by the end of the week'. Does anybody else remember that, or remembering us discussing it here? For the life of me, I can't find that comment documented anywhere I have looked so far, but it is in my memory. AND it makes me wonder why that was felt early in an investigation that has gone way past that hopeful time.
