Thank you immensely!! :D But, um... those are stained pants. Are they trying to say these are "replicas" of Kyron's clothing?
Wow. Please Lord don't let these be Kyron's clothes. Why are the pants stained? i didn't notice that before. :(

I think they tried to dye them black and failed.

From the MultCo SO news feed:

Your knowledge of his description and information regarding the search will raise public awareness and work in concert with our search and rescue efforts. To add to that information, we have on display the likenesses of the shirt, pants, socks and shoes Kyron was wearing on the day of his disappearance. The pants displayed here are of the same style Kyron was wearing, but those he was last seen in were darker. Otherwise these clothes represent identifying items in this search. We show these items to create additional awareness for the public – seeing any of these items individually (a sock, a shirt or shoe) could be the tip that we need to locate Kyron.

I got the same feeling about the sun being based another work and the squirrel one not.

The squirrel one spoke to me as soon as I saw it. I had no idea about any nicknames at that time at all. It might mean absolutely nothing, but that squirrel one breaks my heart. I see no happiness or joy in it, and at that time, I wasn't looking for anything like that at all. It was just there when I looked at the picture.

I am very intrigued and unsure about the feather, leaf in the corner though.

A few posters have said it is a chipmunk based on the stripe. I looked at pics online of squirls and chipmunk and I would have to agree with chipmunk.

Little Lisa Steinberg's art was famously informative. You can bet the FBI profiler was scrutinizing Kyron's.
If the case turns inwards, one of those drawings might be illustrating a little acorn being imperiled by an enormous 🤬🤬🤬. Who knows?

Thanks for posting the artwork.

Interesting observation. That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture of the chipmunk. Bombarded with acorns. And what is that lone leaf up in the corner?

I wonder if they wouldn't use an art therapist to look at pics, however. Maybe they do have FBI specialists.

They aren't his clothes. Those are replicas.

I guess they couldn't find any black cargos, so they tried to die a lighter pair.

In the below article it was stated (BBM): "However attendance records show the child was listed as absent. A spokesman for the Portland Public Schools said two teachers saw Kyron with his stepmother and thought the two left school together."

Over the past 5 or so days I have read that quote get morphed and misinterpreted by a lot of people online to state that the two teachers SAW him leave with his stepmother instead of just thinking or assuming they left together. The people who I originally saw perpetuating that rumor online were quoting that very statement as fact that they SAW Kyron and his stepmom leave together. Obviously, that isn't what was reported.

Realllly... so, I'm confused... Is this what they consider "camoflage" in the replica?

Sorry I think what I read was cargo not camo! Don't want to start a rumor.

Wow, didn't know that about Lisa, gonna google that.

They weren't camo. They were dark, maybe a charcoal color that black can become after many washes.

The only description to come out of Multnomah Co SO is that they are darker than the replicas.

About his sun picture --

I thought the sun picture might be how he saw the sun rising or setting from a window - partially showing. It also looks a little like those nylon "flags" that you hang outside the front door.

And when I look at it too long, it doesn't look like the sun at all - it looks like a jester.

I really wish we could ask Kyron.........

Thanks for being on top of that Puf. Cargo, Camo, um bed time!

At the press conference when they first introduced those clothing items to us they stated the pants are Kyron's and they are a lighter version of the exact ones he wore to school that Friday morning.

I have some pretty strong feelings about "art therapy" at $100/hour. I was once told my ADHD son should enroll in "art therapy" because he needed to express his inner feelings. I told the physician that he played ice hockey and then I changed doctors.

Ah, yes that is closer. So the nickname probably means nothing anyway. Thanks.

I didn't get that impression from the picture at all. I am sure many feel different things. I see the chipmunk, or whatever, as loving the acorn it is holding, very, very much. More than any of the other acorns. IMHO

It would be great to have a therapist say what they feel. I am very glad the pics were posted here.

I still think you need more artwork to analyze but that's how I roll...

I still think that cargo is "cargo" and camo is "camo", so I leave my friends tonight utterly confused and hopeful that Kyron is found tomorrow. Sleuth on, my friends!! :D (Hang on, my Cali friends!!)

From KING5.

Portland Public Schools spokesman Matt Shelby said two teachers saw Kyron with his mother and thought the two left school together. He said it was not uncommon for parents to pick up kids this way, so no suspicions were raised.

And possibly an additional witness saw this, but that's considered rumor for now.

The loved little girl? As opposed to the three dominated males?
My opinion only.
You can be a b***-buster and not be a murderer. This lady may be neither.

Was one of these Kyron’s teacher? If so, think through the following.

Kyron’s teacher likely saw many of her students walking alongside their parent(s) on the Science Fair Day. Eventually the children that she saw walking with their parents returned to her classroom, except for Kyron. This teacher was responsible for Kyron’s actions because he was her students. She would be reprimanded if one of her students was not inside her class and was vandalizing the school or had been abducted. Being a teacher, I will assume that she has compassion for children and would never want them to be injured/abducted/left unattended and given any possibility to get into “trouble”

What happened that made this teacher not go searching for Kyron when he wasn’t in her classroom? How did Kyron’s teacher know that he wasn’t urinating all over the library, stopping up the toilets, setting fire to the teachers’ lounge, or being molested by a pedophile in a school closet?
