That deserved a written thanks Reann. ;}
The generalization is he wasn't too keen on how LE was handling the case, being so secretive and all. I didn't hear his interview but read about it here. Hope that is correct. All I know is he was critical on how LE has handled the case.
I picture an older gal in a mauve suit, pearls and stack sling-back heels sitting at her computer looking out over a green-swept field to the trees. Bach playing in the background and her little Lshsa Apso watching the monitor as she types !!!
All facetious and nothing personal but Gosh sakes, thank goodness for the right of free speech!
Question - Could LE possibly have had the pick-up towed to check for evidence/rule out, but want to protect SM from further rumors so had a dealership do it? And then media found out?
Any thoughts?
It doesn't have to necessarily be "evidence" - this family's child is missing and there could possibly be clues as to where he is in that truck. Its as simple as that. LE is certainly NOT going to fess up to some agressive reporter about why that truck was being towed from that house.
Exactly. People will wonder and LE knows that. We did not get to see the passenger side of the tow truck. Possible that LE was riding shotgun. Also possible that the cameraman and the reporter knew that but was told "Ok - you caught us but its icksna on the deputy in the cab".
Any good news reporter would, in fact, follow that tow truck. LE contracts with towing companies - they don't have their own tow trucks. Would really like to know if that tow truck ended up at a dealership.

As for LE's comments about the truck needing repairs - well sure, that's pretty mundane and would explain everything. But, you can bet everyone (and their brother) knew that IF any media saw that towing there would be he77 to pay - so, simply "it needs work done".
Besides we don't even know what vehicle SM used that morning. But it is very odd and maybe even too coincidental about the very early tips of a white pick up.
Ok - I'm done. Boy, sure took up a lotta space to say a whole lot about nothing.
Hard to believe that I am all confused here. (ha ha) I thought there was a sighting of a white truck in the afternoon and then one in the middle of the night.
What day was the middle of the night sighting?
I thought they were both before he was missing?
Ok, thanks. Not sure how that ties in to my comment tho' lol.
The truck was towed yesterday, btw.
Yes, I am sure. The JK guy said he saw one at 3pm. His neighbor supposedly saw one at 2am that same night/early morning when she let her dogs out. No description of size or anything on either truck, except that it was a blond woman driving the one he saw in the afternoon.
The 3 pm sighting was before anyone knew Kyron was missing. The 2 am sighting was after LE was already staying with the family at their house.
Not sure if posted yet, not sure what it means....
At about 5:15 in this video, the Horman truck is being removed.

They would need either permission from the owner of the truck or a search warrant to search it. They wouldn't do it without a police officer being there before, during, and after, to ensure the chain of custody.
