Was the white truck towed away from the neighbor's home that was searched? I'm glad people's homes are being searched, especially any who may have shown a special interest in Kyron or even his family.
An Officer would likely follow the truck to make sure an Officer was with the truck every step of the way so no one could later say the Tow Driver planted something etc.
It could work the other way too...someone in the know would know that if they sent the truck out to be worked on - any future evidence obtained from it would be questionable.
Another thought...would this be a good time for LE to slap a GPS tracker onto the truck?
It is possible that search warrants were only just obtained, since this was only named criminal on Sunday.
I think it was very irresponsible for the news to post the video of the truck being towed. That causes unnecessary speculation. This was not an LE tow--there was no police presence there--period, end of story. If they thought it was bogus they would have followed it. My guess is that is was towed so they wouldn't have to be chased by the media to the dealer. Sheesh!
See.. I'm thinking that should have been done right off the bat. Maybe it was?
Car@l, Hi there, I never read anything about that with the dogs and all. Do you have a linkipoo? Ta
Kelley, who lives about a mile and a half down hill, at the end of a winding, secluded country lane off Cornelius Pass, said police, federal agents, K-9 teams and helicopters scoured the area Saturday.
"We had two odd sightings of a vehicle on our road Friday," Kelley said. Around 3 p.m., he and a neighbor reported seeing a white pick-up truck with a female driver pull to the end of the long road, idle and then turn around. Then again at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a similar white pickup truck appeared, idled and when a neighbor loosed her dogs, eased away.
"A, it was strange to have a car there, any car there, that we didn't know, and B, it was strange to have a vehicle come down our dead-end road twice in the same day, hours after a little boy goes missing," said Kelley. "That's beyond rare."
Kelley said authorities have twice searched the deep ravine, creek and railroad tracks located near the end of his street by air and on foot.
?? what criminal was named on Sunday?
FWIW - LE let the pontiac sit for almost 2 days before coming and getting it. By that time they had KC charged and in custody. LE KNEW about that car THAT night - LA in interviews said when he got there it was in the garage with all the windows down and doors open to, ya know, kinda VENT that thing. He went on about how the smell was so bad!!!I just don't see LE making such a huge mistake as to allow obvious evidence to slip through their fingers. IMO, that means they've gone over the truck and they've "cleared" it.
It was towed today for mechanical failure and not by LE (that we know). We do not know if this was the same white truck. (bummer)HEY guys... I'm late to the game tonight, I read a few pages back but, whats this about the family's white truck being towed? Who towed it and when? Is this the same white truck someone said a lady was driving the day Kyron went missing?

Don't need a warrant if owner says OK - and that I know firsthand!!!
