I checked Carol Moulton's statements against the facts.

First of all, she's off by two years on the date that Terri and Kaine got married. They've only been married since 2007...can't get a month on that. Anyone who has friended Terri on FB will be able to get that, though. She has a folder of photos entitled "Our Hawaii Wedding 2007."

So she's not been married to Kaine but 2 1/2, maybe 3 years.

As for whether or not she's raised Kaine from infancy, we have no one's word on that but her own mother's word. And her mother was wrong on the length of Kaine and Terri's marriage.

I'm just posting this to show that when we rely on family members' comments for facts, we may not be getting facts.

Other info...

Kaine and Desiree divorced in February 2003. We don't know why, and we don't know when Kaine got primary custody. We also don't know whether there was a 50/50 arrangement on custody, but Desiree let Kyron stay with Kaine during the school year because Skyline is actually a great school academically. If that is the case, the irony is painful.

So much that we don't know about the family arrangements. I really hate seeing comments that seem to smear Kyron's mother, just because she did not have physical custody of Kyron when he went missing.

Someone should probably check records on this, they could have had a courthouse kind of wedding way before that and waited for a Hawaii wedding when they could better afford it---especially when they had her son and Kyron to deal with at the time. The way that it is worded as our HAWAII wedding makes it seem like there may have been something before that, too. A number of sources have stated that the father got custody shortly after Kyron was born and that the step mom has been a primary caretaker since he was an infant. I am in no way smearing his bio mom because I have always assumed that perhaps she had a job requiring lots of travel or maybe she was working night shifts which would mean she had to have child care at night and during the day while she slept. I know many nurses who struggle with that problem. Being a single mom would make that almost impossible to handle. It sounds like dad has a good job with a good company that would have all kinds of benefits to cover Kyron. If he does have health problems, the need for steady insurance could be the deciding factor with both parents in complete agreement. No one has said there were any kind of problems or disputes over custody.

Likewise, I am giving the stepmom the benefit of the doubt. I am assuming that her older son living with the grandparents could be related to his choice of schools, or a sports program that he wanted to be eligible to attend, or even that he was a help to his grandparents in keeping up with chores at their home. There are a multitude of legitimate reasons for both living situations that do not involve conflict or scandal of any kind.

I heard the news talk about the white truck being seen on Salmonberry Lane/Road.. which they said was in western Washington County ....
I know where Salmonberry Rd is.. its south of 26 near Timber, I go up in the woods there a lot, but that is WAY out there..
Can anyone confirm the other road name other than highway 26?

I'm sure that lots of people have white trucks. Not pointing fingers, but Kyron's family has a white truck.

I not pointing fingers either... But how do we know that the family had a white truck?

Please excuse if this has already been asked and answered - I haven't read all 4 threads in entirety -

Does the school have surveillance cameras? Anywhere? Inside on the halls? Outside on maybe the bus drop off and/or parking lot?

Also, I'm assuming dad was at work all day? I've heard about teh step-bro and his bio-dad out camping - but what about Kyron's bio dad? He was at work and what does he do?

TIA :)

Wonder what leads they could be following in WA. I wonder if those are tips of sightings.

After the live press conference, there was an interview with a man who on Saturday saw a boy looking like kyron in a pickup. He says he didn't realize until he got home and saw the news; he seemed to think it was him, and this combined with tips coming from WA makes me wonder if he's been taken out of state by now.

Are you talking about the white truck seen by Jim Kelley? Or the dirty grey/black truck seen by the trucker <-- that was on Hwy 26 heading toward Portland.

I thought that the witness just saw a suspicious white truck, not a boy in a white truck.???

I think that two different witness the guy on the news say he seen a boy that look like Kyron in a dirty gray or black truck.

the other was one that lived by the school and seen the white truck with a female driver.

Can someone link where Jim Kelley saw a BLONDE woman in a white truck?

All I keep finding is a woman in a white truck. Not a blonde woman.

http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/day_three_search_continues_hun.html

quote - snipped:

1:29 p.m. -- Neighbors stop by Brooks Hill Historic church, across the street from the school, to mull over the investigation. "This kind of thing is unheard of," says Jim Kelley, 50.

Kelley, who lives about a mile and a half down hill, at the end of a winding, secluded country lane off Cornelius Pass, said police, federal agents, K-9 teams and helicopters scoured the area Saturday.

"We had two odd sightings of a vehicle on our road Friday," Kelley said. Around 3 p.m., he and a neighbor reported seeing a white pick-up truck with a female driver pull to the end of the long road, idle and then turn around. Then again at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a similar white pickup truck appeared, idled and when a neighbor loosed her dogs, eased away.

"A, it was strange to have a car there, any car there, that we didn't know, and B, it was strange to have a vehicle come down our dead-end road twice in the same day, hours after a little boy goes missing," said Kelley. "That's beyond rare."

Kelley said authorities have twice searched the deep ravine, creek and railroad tracks located near the end of his street by air and on foot.

The one seen by the trucker. It's confusing because I thought they said hwy 26 but they very clearly showed the brown and white little road sign saying Salmonberry...

I just want to make sure I wasn't seeing things =) TIA

Actually the white truck was spotted by Jim Kelley near his home at 3 PM and again at 2 AM.

A truck driver saw who he thought to be Kyron in a dark pick up.

ETA: Sorry I didn't finish reading before I wrote that.

I had heard about the white truck near the school seen by JK at 3pm and 2 am. I have not heard about this other truck and possible sighting. Do you have a link?

If there are any dog search and rescue people on this thread--I have a question--would the rain get rid of his scent?

Yes the rain does get rid of the scent. But with my dog it doesn't. I hid in the yard after it had rain for 2 days and he found me right way, so who knows.

Truck driver was heading toward Portland on Hwy 26.

Truck turned in front of him and he had to slam on his brakes. It was a dirty gray or black pick up.

Startled look on face of boy. Looked like Kyron.

Bumping this again. This is not the same as the white truck driven by female spotted by Jim Kelley near his home.

All that's been reported by LE is that bloodhounds (tracking/trailing dogs) and police K9's were used, and did not have any successful hits.
